I reckon Andre Wilson was the best player I saw in div 6R so its fitting that he won the medal. Good to see the best player (IMO) get recognised..

Each year a baffling decision gets thrown our way, this year was a 200 point win, and the opposition player gets the 3 votes and the bloke who kick 13.7 gets the 2.. Classic stuff

But to be honest, big Kriegy doesnt move far from the goal square, but I guess he aint easy to miss as well though ;-)

Interesting result with Phillips winning it - big unit goes alright but wouldn't have thought he was the best players in the division.

Played ok against us but wasn't as damaging or noticeable as Sumner, Nichols, Woodcock etc..

Andre Wilson - well think he single handedly won MP B grade a few games, very tough match up and exciting player to watch, it doesn't surprise me that he's won it. Thought Joel Clarke would've gone close to winning it as well.

Could go for 4x in a row in D6 if they fail to win tomorrow..

Umpires are shocking with some of the votes dont they write down player numbers at the end of each quarter player can kick over 100 goals for the year and poll next to nothing take his goals away from Brahma Lodge they would have finished in the bottom half of the ladder he makes them a 5-6 goal better side

Never understood football's fascination with getting umpires to give awards. It's utterly illogical.

Whats everyones tip for tomorrow and who do you think will get best on??

Im going West Croydon to get it done by 3 goals and gonna go for Woodcock to be best on

In the 2's Woody Sth by about 7 goals.

West Croydon I think have the talent in the A grade - although I hear Woody Souths prep leading into tomorrow this week has been far superior.. perhaps West Croydon going in thinking it's already won? Still Hawks by 5pts. Nicholls BOG

In the B grade, there is an increasing rumour Stubberfield will inject himself for the GF - that gives Campbell, Stuberfield and Cuellar up forward - far too top heavy, and I think Woody South will be too quick, aggressive and skilful. Cats by 10 goals. Ashby BOG.

Cats to beat CBC in the C grade as well, Bomber to kick 7. Simpson BOG.

it's stupid.. Firstly they should be focusing on the game itself not players - then they're likely only to notice the players through the midfield because they're around them more regularly, and finally I have a theory if you have a strong last quarter you're a better chance of getting votes even if you have a quiet 1st 3 because it's fresh in peoples minds.

Hancock from Ingle Farm didn't poll a single vote, but was easily our best player all season, where as Lynch finished equal 3rd or 4th or whatever it was, and he had a lot of games where he played through the mid a lot but also kicked goals late in games as well.

West Croydon in the A grade by 20 points. Although WS were super impressive last week. By far the best they have played in the 3 games I have seen them. Still think WC will have the quality to get over the line, they do have the past 3 medallists running around for them tomorrow, so that helps.. Sumner BOG Woodcock to kick a handful

In the B grade, Woodville South are the best side ive seen at this level and I think will get it done by 40-50.. If WC can get enough supply into Cuellar, Campbell and Stubby 1 on 1 they will cause headaches, the key will be how hard they smash in the midfield, they hit the ball and body hard last week and that was the difference in the end.. Bring that level again they are a chance, but WS skill level will create enough opportunity for them to win the game.. Watson BOG

Agreed 100% - it's heartbreaking to think they might be running around this div again next year along with Pulteney who've been a force in D5R the past couple seasons

Same as the a grade both these teams were clearly the best all year. Everyone got alot of catching up to do for next year.

Interesting Round 11 WC v WS was the game that was broadcast - and all the rage out of that match was Sumner's performance and how easily he was BOG.. poor kid didn't even get a vote

Judging by Lynch's post on FB, he thought he should've won

Don't think before count he would've given himself a massive chance, but then when you start polling well and finish so close it's understandable to wonder "what if".

He polled in games he probably shouldn't have, and didn't in games he possible should've - so I think it all evens out in the end.

Winner deserved to come from West Croydon - most dominant side all season.

Blown away by timmy only receiving 3 votes..although knowing timmy he likes a chat, It's a mid fielders medal simple as that..
