its what they did against us because they were having their corporate day. everyone seems pretty happy. as long as supporters are dry i see no issue with it. at least they are making a decent effort of it.

lets be honest sturtman, the set up although temporary. will actually be better veiwing then most other grounds with the marquee along the wing!

you lads will have to venture over the opposite side though to make a thunder hill away from home

yea thats fine aslong as an effort is made to keep supporters dry and is reasonably effective there is no dramas,
by the way Teaoby, there is a bit of a hill on the outer wing so im pressuming a few of the boys will set up camp there and dont be surprised if they bring there own shelter,
the inclusion of Lipson and Dickenson to win the game for the Thunder

Heard from a good source at Iggies that S. White trained the house down Thursday night and is expected to play. Atkinson just missed out, but will be okay for next week.......

Connelly not in the top 4 is a joke, the kid can play. Maybe his sandy blonde hair wasn't as eye catching as peroxide blonde hair?!? Handy crickter as well.......

Old Igs too good today, even after we led 5 goals to zip at 1/4 time. We got a fair touch up after that, onball brigade of Iggies killed us, and Pedlar controlled CHB. Losing Moody after 1/4 time didnt help us - he was clearly BOG early, and made it easy for Iggies to win the ball at most stoppages. Bit of a lesson for our guys, because we were up and about early but Iggies rode out the storm and didnt panic when behind. They have some strong bodies in their midfield, PAOC will need to make sure next weeks game doesnt turn into a smash-and-crash affair.

Huge battle at the Thunderdome next week, vs the ol' enemy in Mitcham !!! Should be a belter !!! They have an ok record at our ground, as we have at theirs.

CBCOC would be unhappy at the way their season has finished, but still a good effort to play finals this year. Think they just lost form at the wrong time of year.

None i think, but had a hand in a couple in the first quarter. Think he may have re-injured himself in the second term so you Mitcham blokes wont have to worry about putting 4 blokes on him next week... ;)

Not sure how its an 'interesting decision' to play him - he got through trainings, so he was selected. The guy is 40 dont forget, although you wouldnt think so the way you guys are obsessed with him. Wareing should be back next week, and Lippo will be better for the run today, so the forward line should be ok. Bird a big chance to play this week too.

Early tip for next week - Portland by 40+

Felch, fair to say he'd flog you within an inch of your life if he heard you say that. I think he's a "well-lived-in" 38.

Good job igs. VERY good job.

Those of us a long way away are hoping we can fly in to see us fight for a div 2 spot.

That's rare air. Well done lads.

Portland v Mitcham should be a cracker next week. Mitcham playing great footy at the right time of the year & will go into next weeks game quietly confident.
Just hope its a fine day & a good deck, alot of rain is expected every day this week.

Old Iggs should have a few returning next week, that too will be a close one i'd say.
