I heard a rumour Plympton C Grade did NOT forfeit on the weekend- any Plympton blokes shed any light on this/what's going on with the C's?

UNIT wrote:We played at smithfield on the weekend and had 3 fairly severe knee injuries, the week before we played at home and we had another player injure his knee. Do u guys think that the hardness of the ovals due to the water restrictions is contributing to these injuries or is it just bad luck? Considering this is amateur footy and people also have to work to make money to support their families etc, do you think that if the ovals dont improve and injuries keep consistently occuring will numbers in this league decrease? what is the answer?

Yes it would have an effect to a certain degree, but injuries happen. By the way the water restrictions have not effected our ground, looking lush and green as I have ever seen it.
