wristwatcher wrote:8 players out for the Falcons this SaturdayThis will really test the depth of PNU. The 2 pre-season internet premiership fancies should be a good clash tomorrow at "The Fortress of Falconry". Payneham are looking for their 9th straight win at home which stretches back to round 9 last year when we lost to the (at the time) undefeated Eastern Park.
All good runs come to an end though and hopefully its not tomorrow. Should be a good game and with PNU As and Bs playing 30 mins away there should be a decent crowd for a C grade game. I remember last year that the Bulldogs had real good support at Rowe Park.
I have a real soft spot for Ingle Farm having started my junior career there and living the first 18 years of my life near the mean streets of BeovichI also really appreciate Knowlesy taking MBK off our hands
Hopefully at the the conclusion of hostilities a few of the lads will join us upstairs for a beer and maybe some discussion about phantom gossip

Trying to lure PG into a false sense of security WW?

Otherwise known as the Evil Empire![]()
This game sounds like such a blockbuster I'd even consider coming to watch!
Best of luck to both sides.

I count 6 - and the only influential one to note from last week is Will Kollias

- 2 good teams in the top 5
- Good crowd
- good forecast
- I think 4 A grade premiership players for PNU and an association medallist who are possibly past their prime but still good to watch
- the delightful and visually stimulating backdrop of PNU
- the enigmatic coaching battle between Matty and Marty
- The wisdom of Nipper Williams behind the bar
Im tipping a crowd of 100, 120 if you count the bloody dogs that everyone brings

You could have easily scored a rushed behind for the percentage boost, you could have started going the man after getting your 40 goal lead and you didn't have to offer us beer after the game.
I thought the game was played in good spirits and I hope the birthday boy ended up having a great day.. Poor lad had 13 people trying to stop him from scoring.

lol beat me to it. Think aussiebogan is thinking of juniors where if a side doesnt register a score it only becomes a 10 goal win I think, but this is seniors and no mercy rule here!X Runna wrote:TheAussieBogan wrote:I would just like to say thanks to the guys down at Lockleys.

I've read some odd things on this site in the past, but this would be the oddest.
