St. Peters at home this week should be an absolute cracker after they downed Port Districts by about 100 odd points last week. Really looking forward to it and hope to pull on the boots for the first time in 6 weeks although could have to wait a bit longer.

pie night was a great success with alot of pie on display
their were several different styles and looks of pie with a few of the lads taking some pickup pie home or in some cases just for a drive
on a serious note the club did well out of it which will help in the bottom line at the end of year
the guys had a great time and their was no trouble,,except getting in line for pie

Ugly win today by the lads. But a win is a win. Was good to get out there for a few quarters and kick a few goals.Didnt play as well as I know I can but I know the I will improve as I get more games under the belt. Massive game next week with PAC and looking forward to it.

Yeah not the best win, but i thought it was good to see several players who normally have a big impact were quiet today, we were missing a couple of regulars as well and full credit to SPOC, i liked the way they played the game, their attack on the ball and not afraid to but their bodies on the line and get take the game on, something you don't see too often with college sides.

Agree. Plenty to take out of the game. And also would like to say it was great to have a chat with some of the SPOC guys that stayed back after the game. SPOC are a very good side and would like to wish them all the best for the rest of the year except when we play them.

PAOC triple header this weekend

Postby Latte Lad » Sun May 22, 2011 6:56 pm

Hi Ovies boys,

PAOC are having our past players day this weekend at home, and would be great to arrange a triple header with our C's playing at home too.
Would you boys be willing to consider a swap of venues this weekend and play at park 9 @ 10:15?
In the return match, we'll obviously play on your deck.

Can one of you let me know your thoughts and if happy to swap, so we can let the SAAFL and the players know on tues training.
Cheers.

were quality blokes from a quality club
now we take on the league leaders which is going to be a huge test for us
with a number of people unavailable it is really going to test our character, but our character is constantly being tested by those on the outside or who only rember the past
so far we hve shown how strong we are becoming so its on and upwards for more improvement in our selves, our club and our committment to the cause

Hope that I will be able to get the body ready for the PAC game. Didnt come up from my first game back as well as I would have liked. Looking forward to hopefully playing against the best defence in the comp this weekend.
