PAC won the earlier game this year by 10 goals and it was 3rd vs 6th going into the game. It was a big upset but a needed victory as they are still two games out the five but looking strong. They have the forfiet win, mawson lakes, salisbury in the next 3 round, they might storm home and nab 5th spot.

well from all reports the 8 players who retired after winning the flag last year have been shopping and got a new pair of boots. Would not be suprised to see them come home with a wet sail. As u lads from GG no you dont win GF's till August
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

You are still 2 games out yeah? You would need to not drop a game for the rest of the year to take it out, cant see that happening. You are right GFs are not won till August so good luck to you but you would need a massive improvement from the side we played a few weeks back. Is the result against PAC a bit tainted due to uni holidays maybe also??

How so??? I was stating a fact, three weeks back we beat SMOSH easily out at their ground. I have stated on here that I think that of the two sides Mawson Lakes were the better side. SMOSH have won 6 games all season and can not afford to drop another one if they want to make the finals let alone win or make a GF in this comp. Cant see how that comment makes me a young upstart? the last time I was called young by the way was when i was actually young! They also need either PAC or ML to lose all their remaining games, as I said cant see it happening. This is more of an example how you come on here and look for any opportunity to golden grove bash when you really don't get the context of my point. Happy for SMOSH to prove me wrong, and as I said good luck to them I have only played them this year and from what I have seen, in my opinion, they would need to improve a fair bit from where they are to get there. Surely anyone from SMOSH would have to agree that there form this year is in massive contrast to their form last year. Getting some guys out of retirement might be the key but might be too late is just my point. I also think that having a bye for your C grade and 9 guys that played C grade the week before play D grade could have a little bit to do with the result, and before you say anything I would suggest it is a smart move for these guys to play in the D grade they played within the rules and got the win. 4 of the 9 guys were in their best players in the C grade the week before so they would have been handy ins.

In 1989 we started our fifth side after round 3 in A12 we didn't lose a game the whole year finished Minor Premiers won both finals and took home a flag.
Extra wins weren't given to us we just worked hard and trained 3 times a week in the build up to finals.
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Is this a reference to SHOC at all? Don't see the relevance...

Golden Grove learnt last year that premierships are lost in August and won in September, something that will be a constant reminder and source of motivation come the later round this season and also finals.

The only real options for the ladder now in my opinion are

1st - Flinders Park or Golden Grove
2nd - Flinders Park or Golden Grove
3rd - Sacred Heart or Mawson Lakes
4th - Sacred Heart or Mawson Lakes
5th - Prince Alfred or SMOSH West Lakes or Salsibury

to have 7 out of 9 teams still in the hunt for finals with 3 rounds to go is going to make every result very interesting and relevant, including the games involving Broadview and Mitcham.

With an average age of about 35 and the minimum weight requirement being 100 kilos in our C6 side we can hardly be called 'young' Informer. Get your hand off it and stop talking dribble....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

It was a fair question, if you actually had an idea instead of jumping on any comment anyone from GG says you would know that the result is surprising. Add to this according to the SAAFL website SHOC played 4 less players than ML. Not taking anything away from ML, I personally was surprised they beat SHOC so easily at their home ground. We have SHOC this week and I thought that this is the one we need to win to secure top spot, a real danger game.

I'm not having a go at you blokes. I'm just saying Mawson Lakes must of played well to win by that margin at SHOC,s ground. I can see you blokes winning by at least 10 to 15 goals this week.
