Tomeo has got the SMOSH JOB.
Played cricket against a Player of the A Grade from SMOSH and he said he has the job.

Seaton vs SMOSH put it on a sunday if Hodges goes with him too :)

Luke Stubing got the SMOSH job, great choice and top bloke has already started to take the training sessions as of tonight anyway, great appointment for an old scholar and top bloke to boot...

Ditto. Don't know him, but have heard nothing but good things about him. Find out if they're spot on tonight I guess!

Muffler I'm interested as to what cricket match you were playing in yesterday?

Its a common thing for him this time of the year, knowing Seatons in strife he'll continue to play hard ball to get out of pre-season training, while at the same time hope Seaton will offer him some extra $$$ to stay onboard.
He dont like training prior to Feb-March.
You know that agent.
Will he get his own way? probably

Yeah your right getting him to train at anytime of the year was hard enough, would be another big loss if he does go though Seaton have already lost some toughness around the footy with wanders & Degabriel gone.

You would think the players would play where picked, especially if good A graders like those 2.
Seaton in big trouble if blokes start dictating where they will be playing!

Would think that blokes that have spent alot of years committing to playing A grade and now have other commitments such as family etc would be welcomed to continue playing & helping out in the 2's its alot better than losing them all together to many blokes retire from footy in there 30's cause they can longer commit like they used to at least this way you still have numbers for your b's and have experience to help out any of the juniors coming through

No good having a team half full of 30+ year old blokes like they had last year anyway so cant see the problem with them deciding to plays B's. Maybe their bodies are starting to pack up too especially Thommo who has been in and under packs for years.

Would have thought thats what the C grade was for. Not sure how You would be developing the kids if there is no room left the B grade and they either play A grade too early or get stuck learning nothing in the C grade. Not sure how this would be putting the club first either and its development :?

Disagree with that, if the kids are going to be good more than likely are going to be either in B's or A's. Surly older A grade players will be good for the development of the younger blokes especially in the B's. My opinion anyways i would believe that they are putting the club first by not committing to play A grade probably more so for the balance of the side by not able to play week in week out.

bit different if they cant commit every week.
The way I read it was they were just gonna play B grade, no reasons for them to do that.
know that we have a better idea of why, I think its great they aint just throwing in the towel and will help to develop a good B grade side, playing with blokes of that calibre would definately help young guys!!

would much prefer they were doing this in our jumper rather than seatons though, seatons B grade were very strong last year and obviously only getting better if the likes of these blokes plus the coach of the B grade another who is still capable of playing A grade are all suiting up in the 2nds, going to have a ripper B grade side

Will be a ripper of a B grade side!
They would have to be favourites to win the flag again in the 2's!
Any more news one there A's though?? Any more losses or have they started to recruit a few more?!
Its all good having a strong B grade but at the end of the day the A's make or break the club!

Heard they are chasing a lad named kynan Buhlman from Freeling, midsized forward can take a good catch pretty tough, kicking for goal is a bit of a problem but will be a handy target for them
