Heard that there weren't may at training for Broadview too, they do have some out at league clubs and away overseas though. Always the way come pre season, try getting them out on Thursday when its 41!!!!!. As long aas they keep the core group, which is pretty strong, they should be ok.
Don't see anything wrong with his coaching, i'd say its between the ears of the players thats the problem.
Some players dont like his professionalism, its funny how alot of blokes goals in footy are to win a premiership, yet they don't understand the requirments of puting your body on the line & getting youself in shape.
Those players that do struggle because they have no pre-season behind them, always look for someone else to blame when things arn't going right for them & the first one is always the coach in there eyes.
Don't get me wrong it happens at alot of clubs not just Broadview, i've seen it with me own eyes.
Tony Burgess in my eyes is a big loss for Broadview.
He didn't get the results because players wouldn't listen & if they don't listen & do the hard yards, well your on a hiding to nothing.
The personnel wasn't that good either!
