Mitcham blokes are stoked. We got lucky, but saying that, the A grade deserve the fifth spot. They have to be a dangerous opposition for every other team in the finals. Even though we never beat Smosh this year, and seaton beat PAC on Sat, i think the Hawks are in awesome form and are the most dangerous out of the 3 sides battling for 5th. Its good to see teams like Mitcham, PAC, Portland and CBC working hard to develop their squads to push up the grades. A huge shout out to Para Hills! Hawks coach continually said if we do everything we can to make the top five that the footy gods would look after us. He wasnt wrong!!

Oh how it gave me joy to see Seaton win and still miss the 5. Well done lads come down from div2 and miss the finals.
Also read now the coach is giving it away. May have got all to hard for the big man coaching egos and selfish footballers. Seaton like i said are on track for div4.
Well done to the portland boys. Am actually hoping you guys get into div2 next year. Will be a good Western suburbs rivalry. Like we had with seaton before they started there slide.
yeah will be good to see the thunder smash you fairys and will also be good you guys having another local derby with seaton in 2012

im going to have to backup the portland boys here. Cbc players are a bunch of snipers. Back in 2005 back playing with plympton a player from cbc was going round punching blokes in the balls and he was doing it all game. When our captain saw it he gave the cbc player a beauty right in the mouth. They couldnt find his teeth until he had surgery and found them embedded in his gum. Cbc wrote a letter to the saafl saying he wldnt play again which he ended up playing in another league and they took nottle to court where i had to front as a witness. nots got off and still got suspended for 10games. So cbc get used to being known as a club full of snipers
Not sure how this proves we are snipers. You are obviously very proud of the incident, congratulations to you.

on a non football note, how good is Scotch OC elevated decking area out the front of there club rooms, its a great place to watch footy from.

now on to the footy, Portland first half of footy was pretty good for the condition but kicking for goal was terrible, something like 5.17 at half time, after half time the game went to scrap with many stoppages and huge numbers around the ball. Scotch were still well and truelly in the game in the last quarter when they kicked a goal to put them 9 points down, what seemed strange to me was when that goalwas kicked with about 10 mins left in the quarter there was very little excitement shown by the scotch players if any.
Rosser was the danger man floating to what ever possition his side needed him, the Scotch boys use him at every opportunity and rightly so very damaging when he gets the footy, seems to kill us every time we play Scotch

Bring on the Finals

The real Para Hills came to play yesterday and it makes you wonder where that form has been this season. Just a final word on the once again disgraceful umpiring we've been dished up this year. Those 2 clowns yesterday were by far the worst we've had this season. 3 reports,(the first time a PH player has been reported this year) 2 or 3 yellow cards in what was a physical but far from spiteful game. In those conditions there was always going to be a high number of body clashes. Those 2 inadequate umpires could not umpire a junior game let alone a Div 3 game with a lot at stake for one team. The people in charge down at Thebarton need to have a close look at what a debacle the umpiring has been this year in Div 3 AND NEVER LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN

Bring on 2011

I would have thought the 20 odd punches thrown would suggest it was definately a spiteful game.

Para Hills footy was too good for us, but they're still a dirty side. No sour grapes, they were too good on the day, but they play dirty footy. Intimidating umpires, abusing them, absuing the opposition. Not a good look. Shame, because they obviously have asome very skillful players, and perhaps the way they treat umpires relects the decisions that go against them?

On a positive note, They put on a pretty good day for their past players, and great effort by the PH Full-back to kick a huge barrel after a behind when teh crowd yelled for it!

Good luck to all in finals. Think PAOC will beat Iggies in the GF.

Suppose they deserve them in finishing above the other side!
