2day saw 2 well contested games of footy, TOS A's had a good win for sure. In the end Paralowie B's taught our boys a good lesson that it wont be an easy win every week. It showed my boys they need to step up again because you cant play like that esp when we r coming up agaist a team like CLG next week.

The umps its always the same mouth off & u know what happens, few very questionable calls for sure but overall i have seen much worse.

more dissapointing than clg's last 3 quarters were the bl supporters that came around to where our supporters were, looking for a fight. bunch of idiots[/quote]

I was out at that game today, and from a womans view, though fighting and cursing arnt called for, i thought that is just footy. Two teams passionate about the game and their team. The built up to this game was huge, so some arguments and tension were expected. Was a great game to watch, better than some AFL games i have seen in a while. Well done to Brahma Lodge, looks like they are the ones to beat for the flag!!! CLG are a great side, and at some points of the game showed just how good they can be. Expect them to challenge Brahma Lodge in the GF!!
I hope u are standing right in the middle of the track when the KARMA train comes.................and it is coming, its time!

went and watch this one today and what a win for blodge to be 8 or 9 down at 1/4 time and win pretty easy in the end is a sensational effort from this team. they were awful in the first quater and it looked like clg gardens were going to win by plenty. I listened to payne 1/4 speech and he didnt hold back with a few of his players and from there on it was all blodge even in the second if blodge kicked straight they would have almost gone in at half time in front. just wonder how much clg rely on some of there big name players because in the first quater when it was all going there way they were good but when it got tough and clg needed some one to step up the so called guns went missing big time. anyway sensational game and well done to both sides for the show.

As a non bias observer who do you think plsyed well today and where did brahma lodge win the game and CLG lose the gane?

Scottyroo did you play today? As for the stuff behind the goal, I Dont think it is on at all. However the amount of shit i coped in the second quarter from your supporters probably didn't help the situation. I was the number 15. You might want to let your supporters know for the drive north that i have eaten every pie at the canteen and that i love a hamburger, because thats the best they could come up with. Also for the guy that was holding the board for you in the B grade, with the dreadlocks, he may not want to be so lippy in the second quarter when the game is still in the balance. This bloke and a few others were CLG major down fall today.

Scottroo i thank everybody at CLG for a good game of footy today. The game was physical but overall played in the right spirit. I really think you have the team and the coach to turn it round in 9 rounds time. I really look forward to the replay in 10 weeks time. Now its time to put that game behind us and get ready for a very determined and fired up mitchell park. I look forward to the challenge in 7 days time.

Ryno #15 :D

gday lads. Just a friendly hello to let you know im still kickin around these parts. Clg are over-rated. Brahma too big, too classy, too experienced, too well drilled, well coached and find plenty for him. Brahma WILL win the flag, just hope the win doesnt go to their head. Too good for divvy 6 and will be more than competitive when steppin up to div 5, and then div 4. This is a seriously well balanced team. Good luck lads.

ok well i think the game was won when blodge decided to get tough, aggresive, and having clg think about going in and getting the ball imo clg have to many recievers in there side. i dont know everyones name out blodge but i thought that no 7 was a stand out and mckee had a sensational 2nd half the ruckman(belmann i think) solly and no 3 in the centre turned the game around in the second quater for the lodge. just for the record clg are a very good side and will be serious contenders.but there real good players need to stand up in big games.visser and davey were clg best yesterday.

To come back from 9 goal down in any game is a great effort and BL must of played some bloody good footy yesterday. How did Harvey play for CLG?

nah i dont play this year, as for harvey he was pretty good, started v well but ended up being very closely tagged after then, still got a fair bit of it though. Like ive said credit to bl but thats the worst weve played for awhile and had absoulutely zero run from defence and lacked hardness, we have a good b grade side so maybe some of them may get the callup this week. If clg played like they did in the first say in the 3rd that would of been one cracker of a match!
