fisty
hear there was some devistating news for you on the weekend.
i seen the incedent and it didnt look good, was it the hamstring. the question is will you be put down like other horses.

and for you felch will this pose any problems on the selection table as young fisty has had a quality season.

should be good down at haven this week will be interesting to see if many portland players come in for a beer after the game because if i remember correctly few north haven boys had a few beers in portlands club after the last clash it was good to see. cant wait to watch this game

They were actually up by 8 points half way through the last quarter, but we managed to kick 4 of our 8 goals in the last 10 minutes to win. Terrible game of footy, mistakes made everywhere by both sides.
Looking forward to the top of the table clash this week against PAOC with up to 6 of our core A grade players back in the side. I still think PAOC would have to go in as favourites though.

Pity CBC could not kick straight on the weekend, could have made things a bit more interesting for the final placing in the 5.

I think the loser of Lutheran and CBC this week will find it almost impossible to make 5 - they would be 3 games plus percentage from 5th spot, if Mitcham win. In reality, CBC could still get relegated, although i doubt they will.

Lutheran's would just be making up the Numbers if they made the 5 based on the weekends game................CBC on the other hand would scare a few teams if they made it.

Poor old Fisty will be out for a few weeks, he twanged the hammy on the weekend.

On Southall, i agree he should be playing A grade and would have been a chance on the weekend but missed with injury. He is only just starting to get himself fit, after a late start to the year and i know is looking forward to playing against some old mates this week.

Has been very handy in our ressies, especially the last few weeks.

If we make finals il keep an eye out for Fisty as sorry got him mixed up & still not quiet sure who he is but i know your old man from work Felch & we always have a chat about footy whenever he is in as for Southall loosing him from your B's side against Mitcham would of hurt he makes a big difference & u would of been a good chance of winning with him in your side!

Hows Unley B's knocking off PAOC? They would be a smokey now as they have knocked off 3 of the other 4 sides in the Top 5 we play them in a fortnight so be interesting to see if we are around the mark this year!

As for your ruckman what the hell do u put in the water out there he is a big boy for 17yrs? Hey a question Felch is he eligable for U-18's next year?? if he is let me know mate as i was a selector for the U-18's SAAFL interleague this year!

Another very close game for Fitzroy again this season but good to come away with the 2 point win this time!

Thats 4 games this '08 season for the Lions decided by less than a goal!

2 wins & 2 losses add another 3 losses by under 2 goals thats 7 close games from 11 games this year!

We are still fighting to stay out of relagation zone but if a couple of them results went the other way we still be in the hunt!

Just shows how even the division 4 is this year as even Pultney took it right up to Pooraka on the week end!

The next 7 rounds will be very interesting still which makes for a good year of footy in this division!

No mate, i think he turns 18 this year, so this was his last year for u18's. We didnt have the numbers for a u18s side this year, but luckily we managed to hold on to a few by playing them in the B grade - and they have been earning their spots. We have even thought about playing a couple of our u16s lads, there are a one or two who probably could hold their own.

I already said that i thought Fitzroy would upset a few teams, but they are a long way off the top 5. Unfortunately for them, they need luck to go their way and also for it to go against 2-3 other sides.
