At the end of the day....Whether the side has the talent, but lacks the will to win and as a whole cannot committ to the right attitude...they will often come off second best.

The coach is the figure head and focal point. Its alot easier to move on from the coach than to get rid of all the players.

Who will make the 5?

The Kenilworth v Valleys game this week is going to be a beauty. Sadly I won't be in town after last minute changes.

Kenilworth win this week they can make serious claims for finals and a cheeky shot @ 3rd spot. Hope Valley win I reckon they'll finish 3rd and make serious claims for div 4.

Such a fickle game is footy. Haven can still make the 5 and if they do they will worry several sides. Theyve beaten WC, kenn, valley and glenunga. Lost to Brahma by 8 points. I wouldn't write the lads off yet!

problem is Superboot is although they've got a fairly favourable run home, they'd almost have to do a Bradbury to do it..

From how it looks now 10 wins and a good % will get you a spot in the 5 which is the norm.
Looking @ Rosewaters recent resultsill predict they can knock off and knock out a contender. I hope it's not us!
Kenilworth have won 5 out of the last 6 and 4 of them were 50/50 @ best during dying stages of each game.
Hope Valley super consistant and my tip to go 3rd.
West Croydon v Kenilworth in 2 weeks will be another shaper and Glenunga have been butt sechsed with injury and they will make the 5 and cause issues.
North Haven need to win 4 and no doubt can. If they make the 5 watch out for the side that has been to Hell and back!
Fitzroy an outside chance and seriously well done to a side who won no games last year to then become very competative in solid competition.

Just had a little time so went back over a few posts to see where people predicted teams to finish.

Here is the people who had a shot at it.

The dark Night:

A Grade:

1. West Croydon
2. Hope Valley
3. North Haven
4. Adelaide Lutheran
5. Kenilworth
6. Brahma Lodge
7. Glenunga
8. Westminster OS
9. Rosewater
10. Fitzroy

B Grade:

1. Hope Valley
2. North Haven
3. Adelaide Lutheran
4. Kenilworth
5. Westminster OS
6. Brahma Lodge
7. Glenunga
8. Fitzroy
9. Rosewater
10. West Croydon

beeched iizzz

So.... All clubs by now would have a fair idea of how the majority of there side would look and would have done most of their recruiting. Some clubs may have also heard how other clubs are fairing. Any early ladder predictions? Right-0 I'll have a go
1. North Haven... Fromwhat I've heard, the side is very very good
2. Hope Valley... Strong club(3&4 to go 1&2 in 2012)
3. West croydon ... Consistent performers
4. Brahma Lodge... Will be better this year, but must gel
5-9 well that's just a mix
Ltheran can beat anyone on their day
Kennielworth... Div 6 premiers, but not as good as west croydon were
Westminster... College side...will play a college style... Predictable
Glenunga.... Will need some time in a Div above
Rosewater... Won't have the cattle
10. Fitzroy... I have a lot of respects for the 'roys' but I think confidence will be hard to gain in a strong division, but they will be back. Hopefully they take their frustration out on glenunga. I know I would!!

I will have a go

North Haven - some good ins and with an extra side have plenty of players, not many confirmed losses and at this stage start favorites
West Croydon - some ins some outs but just missed last year so will again be around it when the whips are cracking
Adelaide Lutheran - some quality ins and if Miegel returns probably put them in front - if they don't play in the GF after their recruiting then massive disappointment
Hope Valley - looked to have kept the squad together and will improve if their kids find their feet in senior footy
Brahma Lodge - as usual ins and outs but are they better than last year, injuries will hit hard and massive pressure on coach after last year
Kenilworth - unknown but history suggest a D6 GF side goes well
Rosewater - up and down year last year but if on can beat anyone, consistentcy the key
Glenunga - unknown but like Kenilworth have some excellent players, another year older may catch them, depends on what they have added
Westminster - according to one eye they are gone will depend if they can get David Shipway to pay for some players
Fitzroy - massive down season last year and not sure if they can pull out of the spiral, sources close to the club tell me that they are hoping to avoid relegation, in this grade that may not be enough

There you go, don't forget it's all in fun so please don't take it to heart
