it was very tight.. only a couple points in it at half time... then an inspirational half time speach motivated our guys and we were alot better in third term... i heard they had about 5-6 a graders playing for them. so not a bad win considerin

No they didn't mate, I checked their list as I have all through the finals, I know a fair few of their team, some played a few A grade games during the year but they were legitimate B graders, they didn't apply for any permits either.

They are a very experienced side, some very smart footballers amongst them, you guys are a great B grade outfit though and have a good blend of pace, size and footy brains, you follow a game plan that suits your team. Obviously Plympton will be a big task, I did mention about 8 weeks ago on here that I thought you were beatable, they proved it last week. They too are a hard running side that follows a good game plan, this game will go down to the wire. Two young fit sides out there giving it a crack.

really? well there were several players i didnt recognise from both times we played them this year, and ive been told that they were saying that had a couple down to.. but ahwell guess not, obviously ur pretty into ur details.

plympton are a very fast running side, love to play on at every cost and run the ball down the wings, last time they killed us running out of our forward lines.... this time we will have to fix that. cant wait mate...

They were like us this year, heaps of changes every week, we beat them by 3 goals at their ground and then by 20 at our ground, both times we played you we were missing at least ten first choice players so you would've thought the same thing if we had of been playing you.

Our B's were very disappointing this year, we played some great footy at times but struggled at times that we should've been more competitive. Too many players thought that were automatically selected on talent, but missed out because others got out on the track both nights.

I see the love between you two teams is still there, they have a better midfield this though than last year, besides that, you guys would be better suited to the open spaces of Salisbury Oval where your pace would be a huge asset.

In response to MH... U need to stop living in the past... we have a different side this year. One with more experience and ability to handle the finals pressure better. No hard feelings though mate, good luck in Div 5 next year.

ill pop up and say congrats and good luck to both golden grove and greenacres this week. I honestly believe that golden grove is the more talented side but greenies has more experience in this type of arena and they have show guts the last two weeks so with finals pressure they have every chance if it stays a tight physical game!!!

Not sure where ur heading this week if anywhere LM but ill be out at the Div 6 GF watching lukey and Jimbo. what was the standard of the prelim like Zed??? Where would u think WOS and CLG would rank in Div 5??? Ive heard WOS have a few ex SANFL players amongst their ranks!!!

lol johno...the old hounds gg rivalry still lives i see..

bondy: conway plays up fwd..didnt do much but very tall..dont know if ohara played league ..if he did it would have been 15kgs ago..slow mover as is dida the other ruck..i always rated wos on ballers and still do..allen,marshall and warburton are super tough and love it close in

good quality game tho bondy..to draw a comparison with clubs in div 5 is tough..i would say wos is up to elizabeth, rosewater level at their best and clg with their 2 fwds back in prolly similar altho smaller bodies, hv have some genuine top class players and will be no pushover in div 5 next year, at this early stage perhaps farmers and unley/cbc will struggle next year..i highly doubt that both hv and wos will boomerang back into div 6 after 2009 season..but someone has to come 9th and 10th

One thing to remember Kookacash, in 15 yrs time nobody will remember the two years you were promoted but they will remember it if you come away with the 2 premierships. How does the old saying go "nobody remembers who finishes second"

Ease up... I remember the mighty South Adelaide Panthers finishing second in 1979... so you are incorrect because I have watched them finish second in most games they have played in my 36 years !!!

I'd imagine a few of our boys will be heading out there, I wish them all the best but it's a bitter pill to swallow seeing Luke running amok in foreign colours, would've been a huge asset for us. We have cricket training saturday so I'll probably just chill there, I'm nearly footballed out.

I'm in 3 minds, I suppose it's only one more than usual though, I'd like to go to Salisbury, part of me wants to go to Campbelltown or do I just go and have a hit and catch up with some cricket mates. :-k I hate watching games where we could've been participating in. Luke has enormous respect at our club, not just his football ability, he is a great person to have around the club, one of the most lion-hearted players I've seen in my 28 years of being involved with our club.
