Why didn't you just use the winky face then.

Apparently there were undercovers there. Surely they would've cottoned on to what was going on. What did they do?[/quote]
[SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH][PARTY POPPER][CLAPPING HANDS SIGN] don't know what's going on, they are not working.

Think it's more people fearing the repurcussions that could come of it..

Can see a copper in uniform but apart from that don't know who you are talking about. Must say fine looking bunch. This is one example why courts should operate 7 days a week, that way this mobs weekends would be tied up and they couldn't stuff up everyone else's.

Personally i think one step the league could take would be to be like pubs/clubs and not allow anyone to attend events like this if they are wearing any sort of club colours (not footyball obviously).

Having said that, the poor old lady on the gate would've had a wow of a time telling these lads they werent allowed in!

Yeah I get that, but there are ways. As you have demonstrated.

Need to somehow administrate some sort of new policy around spectator attendance so that the clubs involved can call the cops when known miscreants rock up.

Its tough, I get it, but they're obviously brain dead, we're never going to win with physicality or security, we have to outsmart them. **** these ****s. **** em. Makes me so ******* angry that our game is being held hostage.

What people need to realise though, when so many people are involved and it's out of control, given cops are outnumbered something like 5 to 1 at least, the only thing the cops can really do is seperate the groups and try and get between them.

If they come in gung ho and start cuffing blokes, suddenly you've got all the cops on the ground restraining people, unable to do a thing about the other however many people going hammer & tongs

Absolutely disgusted at what occurred at Salisbury oval yesterday. To see spectators, Icluding women and children and my wife and daughter, flowing onto the oval to escape this senseless violence is something you never want to see at a football match once, let alone twice in one year. No one from IFFC did anything to provoke or encourage this and were just innocent targets that were enjoying the footy and supporting their team. We will submit a full report to the SAAFL. Good to see there was no one from the league there at the end of the game and after about 20 minutes of looking at a table with the cup and medals on it, we worked out to do a presentation ourselves. Very poor form, and surely the least you could expect is a representative to do a presentation at the end of your grand final.

Agree,

There needs to be a law, legislation, rule etc etc making it similar to a licenses venue where people can be banned from attending

That way if someone did know there was a banned person there they could discreetly ring the police and inform them, no one would have a clue who rang and should be safe from any retribution

A huge congrats to everyone involved at IFFC this year and especially to my great mate Wayne Knowles. We have a great group of hard working people striving to make this proud club successful again and to see so many people, new and old, at the club last night is exactly what we wanted to achieve. Onwards and upwards from here.
To everyone at Angle Vale, our commiserations for yesterday. Hard fought game as always with you guys and I look forward to meeting up again next year in Divvy 6.

It's a f**ken joke! Like i posted yesterday, once again our name (Ingle Farm) gets dragged into crap - work so hard to try and change an image/culture/perception and then this crap happens and we are implicated in it.

I've already had two people who were keen to sign for next season ring and tell me to forget about it then i've just had my daughters mum see the crap on the news and she is difficult enough at the best of times so now it looks like it's going to affect my personal life and i wasn't even involved!!

Smithfield should just be burnt to the f**king ground! Pack of derelics and the only word they know how to spell is their post code!

Gee you post some utter crap man.

Yeah? Really?! Which part hey?

The bit where we potentially lose players over this?
The bit where people outside the football community e.g my ex see this crap all over the news and suddenly jump to conclusions or formulate an opinion?
Did any of our supporters rock up looking for a fight? No
Was there any trouble before this incident at the game? No

Amazing that given all the games we play each year that the only two occasions there have been issues with supporters were when Smithfield were involved! But hey maybe i'm just posting some utter crap.

Where you there? I can tell you that most of the supporters were mingled, where i sat i had Angle Vale supporters either side, and either side of them Farmers - yet no trouble at all, no abuse back or forwards, just watched the game and supported respective sides.

So go on then Mr High and Mighty why dont you give us your take on things? No mate, it's YOU that posts some utter crap!

Big congratulations to everyone associated with the Ingle Farm Football Club, in particular, Wayne Knowles who has done a fantastic job turning the club around. Special mention to Grant Hawksworth who finishes a great career with a premiership. Hawk was there in 2005 for the Farmers last premiership and stuck through all of the tough times. A champion bloke - well done.
