But in all seriousness D7R football is pretty much bruise free and we would love to have someone like Steady.

I reckon you rate Bray a bit too much

Maybe she can tell me all about him
Steady's no racehorse but still one of the most reliable defenders in the game. A former captain, very good at directing the back six. Absolute gun back in the day (won a B&F at Blackwood and came third in the Mail Medal a couple of times) but dogged by injuries in recent years. Veteran of 300+ games of senior footy, this will be his last game. That about sums things up.

It would be the biggest upset in my football memory if MP got up on Saturday.

we're clicking. Don't worry about that. Playing as well as we possibly can at the moment. But that only gets you so far, which I think is a GF. Amazing achievement for this group but in all honesty I suspect Houghton will be too talented, too strong and too good.Zartan wrote:morell wrote:I offered odds of $9.50, so no.

Only take one good game for everything to click though.. and everyone loves an underdog.
I think that might happen no matter what.Zartan wrote:I would personally love to see both Houghton and Mitchell Park move up to D6 next year.

Agree football is about having fun playing higher grades I lost interest few years back after coming to Houghton during season I enjoy football again
Absolutely. Really glad we came to Mitchell Park this year and wish we'd done it sooner, because this is the old fella's last year. I haven't seen him enjoy his footy so much in ages.. Will definitely be sticking around the club and coming to watch next year.
