Its just my opinion that the budget writer got it wrong in saying what he did!! Others may disagree and thats there opinion. But Im happy to have a little bet on the winner finishing minor premiers therefore making this the most important minor round game thus far in the season. I say thus far as there will be more important games to come in the next few weeks to finalise the top 5. This involves CLG, Houghton and Kenilworth. With CLG to play both Houghton and Kenilworth.

if..if HDFC drop out of the race you could see the CLG v KFC game rd18 as almost a dead rubber..only to decide who hosts the final the week after..and of course KFC could beat TOS this week and put pressure on them for the 3rd place..leaving a nasty final for CLG out at TOS first week of the finals..all buts and ifs and maybes..if HDFC knocks off a couple teams above it they may get to 4th and provide a headache for somebody with a home final..lots of swings and turns yet to come..

the game today between the hawks and demons was as good as you will see in this division or upto 3 divisions higher.it was tight all day and the end result was lengthen by a couple of junk time goals.the game was played in great spiritsand even tho the skills were sometimes down it was more to do with the pressure.the dees proved their toughness at the ball and never gave in but they still have to many players playing wide of the contest.an interesting observation of the game is the fact that when coops goes out of the game for either breathers or form the hawks struggle.the umpiring doesnt need to be talked about with the hawks having at least 9 x 25 meter penalties against them.what i will say is that even tho the hawks have cleaned up their game they are still to mouthy and if they dont get discipline in this part of their game it will cause their down fall.i also believe the two coaches were holding back a little in showing to much.understand both teams hasd some outs but it was a great game,in front of a huge crowd.also believe the footy writer got the score line right......
