smithfield were quite impressive and wanted the footy more than the lodge today early jump in the first from smithfield, we slowly clawed back but not enough, well done smithfield

jossa was good early then died off, young taylor up forward superb for a 16 year old lad, benny russell was best for me as for lodge gatto had a good first hit out and that would be it

smithfields supporters havent changed over the years

Hope Valley got up over Blackfriars by 8 points in a tight contest. HV were in control in the first half, but let BOS back into in the 2nd half.

HV B Grade won by about 9-10 goals.

I will put the rest of the scores on here as soon as I can get on to I-score or SAAFL website...???

Scrappy win for AL today at Nth Haven, but any win out there is a good one!
Windy conditions as always and we had 2 good quarters with it, and backline held us together against it.
Good effort by NH boys, had a real crack, good luck for the rest of the year.

What a country to live in , great day at argana park weather , ground and footy all superb .Good day for the beff with 3 wins and all games played in a good spirit . In the main game elizabeth put together an 8 goal to 2 last quarter to take the chocolates .Was impressed with heccies even thou they faded , their run , pressure and tackling was superb but they couldnt counteract some excellent centre clearance work in the last quarter ,but they will be around the mark come finals for sure .

Will the "Doggywobbles" continue prelim final day? To be honest I expected Plympton to waltz through the early rounds. Maybe time to gel.... Some top players even playing in the 2's.

well done to HV, too good and able to hang on in a tight last quarter. bit of credit to our lads though SD, we fought our way back into it. indeed valleys controlled the game to half time even though we had taken the score from 5.5 to 0.2 half way thru the second to be 5.6 to 2.3 at half time. our second half was better but still to many turnovers and to loose at times. szabo was very good today and #9 has a great kick that can break the game open.

can not understand how a player can run past the ball and shirt front a bloke running towards the ball and no free is paid

sprint nothing surprised me decision wise with the two umps yesterday.normally not a umpire knocker but they spoilt a good hard game of footy. first 3 weeks umps have been good but too many tiggy touch frees that stopped either side getting any momentum going.
