Of course the rumours of the C grade getting pulled are false. At least nobody involved with the club seems to know anything about it, so perhaps Dee Man knows more about us than we do. No doubt like every club there are things to improve on and we're busting our backsides to do so. In the meantime all we want is to be treated on the basis of action and not reputation. A reputation earned in many ways, both fair and unfair, but largely by people no longer seen at the club.

Do you mean "their" as in the Salisbury West C Grade team or "their" as in Salisbury West Football Club?

Tony Clifton wrote:The unsubstantiated accusation on here a few weeks ago was that they were going to pull their C Grade because of the number of reports the club had generated through their three grades. I don't know how the system works but someone suggested that the position of their A's could be affected if a C Grader got reported. So they were going to pull their C's to reduce the chance of this happening.
A Salisbury West poster vehemently denied this was the case.

I would be surprised if they were that stupid - I would however be nervous if I were them, plenty of un-defeated sides have lost Grand Finals before

Sorry Masha no truth in the rumour, perhaps initiating mind games before the game tomorrow might give you an edge? Are you playing tomorrow as I will make sure you will get at least one kick!

I don't know the full story so hopefully someone from SW comes on to explain it.
All I know is that their C grade had to pull out of the comp and it certainly wasn't to do with lack of players.

Ok you got me, just stirring.
An edge? At the moment, we have 19 players, and going by our B grade past record, we will lose 2-3 by tomorrow so could be struggling. We know where we sit, we just want to be competitive no matter the result.
Yeah I am playing, but will be a little late as I also have to suit up for the B grade.
On that note, our umpire will be a tad late too, as he is doing the B grade so you may have to fly solo for 5 or so minutes. That or just wait for him, he is worth waiting for

Tough gig, two games in a row - no need to rush I'm sure I wont get into too much trouble for the first 10 minutes or so.

Late mail EM, we may have to wait for you to start the game! Info from the C's tells me 4 up to the B's, 2 injuries from last week, Corey away with work so I may have to pull on the EPFC jumper for the 462nd time!
