poor form indeed.

We dont need those sort of players in the SAAFL and attempted striking of an umpire.
To hard to get good people to do the job.
Gives the comp a bad name lets hope its life time one and nothing less.
Im even sure the Fitzroy club would agree they dont need players like that at thier club.

Alex Molyneux is a good player but wasnt in our top 4.

Aaron Miatke hasnt played a game since round 11 when we played Hectorville and he did his shoulder. He is having his second shoulder reconstruction over summer (he is in his early 20's).

A fantastic rover that likes to kick a goal but NEVER trains.

A good example of a player that could play higher if he put his mind to it but study and social culture is a little more of a priority.

Good luck to all in the semi finals.

Is that Molyneux related to the one at Central District?

I don't know but I will ask him.

Was always going to cost them in finals with neutral umpires. We played them in last game and was close all day but kept giving away 25s or down ground frees to give away too many goals. Not unhappy about that result

bit worried if you played us in the finals, eh?
You can rest easy now.

despite some of the garbage you've been posting on here recently, I can't really take you task on what you say this time.

& Finn, this is not the first time our lack of discipline has brought us undone in a final at Park 10

The fat Fitzroy guy is a flat out thug, Fitzroy would be wise not to keep letting guys like that tarnish their reputation.

And the other guy well, he's obviously very suspect judging by this pic lol

Well you hear about a team that goes thru the year undefeated and then lose the GF.. And that's what Salisbury achieved yesterday.
A great win by the Jets boys! One of our best players, Hussey pulled out before the bounce and there were a couple of other injuries, but got the job done!
Great work by Boog Abbott to get BOG in his last game.
Supercoach Ben Newbold managed to get 6-8 older players back to the club and blended them with a bunch of fit, young talents.. Future looks good for Unley, some gun youngsters played in the B grade flag aswell. Big night!
Gee I'm crook today!!

Was at the game yesterday and was impressed with the standard of footy played. Knew nothing about either team except for a few boys from unley. Abbott was fantastic bog by a mile. Was surprised he was still playing. Unley deserved the victory as they took their chances up fwd. Strawnie with the falcon of the day, great smother with his head in the last qtr.
Thought Salisbury would've won atleast 1 gf but not to be. Congrats to unley in the magoos aswell.

just seen a fitzroy player up on 2 counts of striking 1 account of trying to make contact with a umpire and 1 account of abusive language. And he only got 2 weeks for the language and got off the other 3. Was this a case of the 2 weeks gave him a total of 12 weeks in his playing history or was the umpiring that bad?

I saw the incident, there was nothing in it- the bad language charge obviously stood.
There was never intent to make any contact with the umpire, and one "striking charge" was a fend-off.
I believe the umpire to be inexperienced and possibly over-zealous, but also believe the Fitzroy player was silly for putting himself into that situation.
