Purely theoretical Ace. Most of the lads live down the hill, so the travel factor just isn't viable.

Although, a number of the lads playing next year would have had some involvement with either of the Hills leagues.


D Tapp (kersbrook), B Green (kersbrook/hope valley), and a few from Birdwood (including last years A grade captain). Houghton will be one of the teams to beat in 2010. Rexy must be pretty excited about the season ahead.Throw in L Starr and C Dow returning and a top 3 spot is a very real possibility...

Lack of motivation, couple of kids. He played a couple of B grade games and maybe one or two A grade games. Very good inclusion for Houghton. Along with his partner in crime Tappy, they will dominate games of footy when they're switched on.

Not sure who the Birdwood skipper was. Just heard he and a couple others have signed at the Raiders.

by the way,the coach who didnt get the job at the lions was an ex crow who actually pulled out of the job when the club thought a coach should be their every training and every saturday,just what i heard about the story.
he did coach in div 2 last year but schools out for him!

and from what im told the boys r really hurtin from losing the GF last season and are as fired up as ever...
