the club had 33 players for B and C grades...the lowest grade drops off first , you know the rules blueboy..you want him to find more players(suckers) so they can drive to modbury for a 30 goal belting and you can glory in your victory??

these months are historically the hardest to get players because of injuries and we dont have huge depth..deal with it..its not the end of the world..we are trying to do our best with what we have

This week and next week off the Hawks now !!!

Couldnt try and russle up a few more players Kookas or the trip for a 12.15 game not suit you club as the last one didnt ???

We played a 2.15 game at your club earlier this year as we were told that there was a game before ours and guess what when we rocked up @ 1.00 there was no game on - so at this stage you can say im a little un happy with your club !!!

you just wanted to take the glory of a belting and push your percentage up, you didnt like a 10 goal win but wanted a 20 goal belting.

who ever told you that we had a game before ours was informed wrongly. when teams play us at our ground, it is always a 2.15 start, when they play at your ground it is a 12.15 start as your C grade play after you all the time.

if i wasnt injured i would have played but i am out for at least another 2 weeks with a knee injury, gives me a chance to watch our A's and B's play.

I think its more about wanting a to have a kick on a saturday, regardless of how much your gonna win or loose by, not about taking the glory of a belting! Is that why you didnt want to travel all the way done to Modbury?? Cos you thought ud get belted?? Just dissapointing that you couldnt get a few more players! Now we have 2 weeks off with the bye next week!

It is more about having 2 weeks off in a row than anything else we also have players missing out on a game on a regular basis with 4 sides.

We offered to still play and give you players - eg a scratch match and that was given the big pffffffffft as well.

I have the impression that it is more to do with the drive !!!

FYI i have more pleasure from beating a side in a close and hard fought game than belting a side !!!

hawks and bluboy..read my words..we had 33 players for b and c grade..that doesnt equal 42 does it..one has to forfeit..the lowest one..get over yourselves..and yes it is hard to ring a guy up who hasnt played or trained all year and say can you help us out by driving to modbury and getting your a55es handed to you on a platter..sounds like a great day..if you will miss your footy so much then organise an internal trial and play 12 v 12  ..a scratch match OMG..its not u/12's !

Did you not read what I said !!!

No worries you make your own mind up - mine is !!!

12 Blokes left over then couldnt be stuffed ringing even 6 players with the long trip and the early start and then even knock back the scratchy with our extra players - hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !!!!

If a club nominates to play they do have obligations no matter what !!!

if we had 6 to ring who would do it we would have, but we didnt, so we didnt, you dont think we try to fill the teams and ring players up to get them to play ???..the 33 left was after we had rung everyone..there was no more blood to be squeezed from the stone, and 6 extra doesnt give us a bench either so the real number is 9 needed..buzz off and stop double posting

What becomes of the offer of us to make up your numbers with our players to play a match for no points then so we dont miss out 2 weeks in a row of a game.

This offer was made on Thursday evening @ 8pm after we walked of the track and were told Kenilworth had pulled the plug already !!!

Just admit that you were not prepared to travel down to Modbury under any circumstance at 12.15 on Saturday - then the jury will be closed !!!

FYI I can post to any one that responds to my post !!!

We actually would - and we would find the numbers to play especially as we have to miss 2 weeks in a row with us having the bye next week !!!

The risk of injury could happen any time and if we were fearful of that at any time you walked on the field I guess you would have to consider why you would even play the game or any game in the first place !!!

We had a 2.15 game earlier this year and we had 8 first choice players that couldnt play as they work from 3pm as they have shift work on Saturdays. We found a side travelled and won !!!

There are alot more repuctions than people imagine for a home club losing a game because of the away team pulling the pin !!!

Mate i am not worried about getting injured during a game... i play footy so i can feel the soreness after.... but getting injured in a scratchy is like getting injured during training.......

but as everyine has said due to the A's and B's having alot of injuries at the moment and a few injuries in the C's the numbers where just not there... its unfortunate that you boys miss out on playing for 3 weeks but thats the life of playing in a c grade... the higher grades come first
