Which club has already booked entertainment for Grand final night back at their club? Well prepared or getting ahead of themselves?
I'm number 1, so why try harder!!

Why would you need 'entertainment' if you had just won the premiership anyway?!

Found this a stupid comment in this weeks budget about the Lockleys vs West Croydon game.

"What benefit does the winning team get except maybe bragging rights in a game that doesn’t
get you promoted?"

The benefit i'd say is huge considering the winner will probably finish top after the minor round and therefore get the 1st week off in finals then host a home final to play for a GF spot. Well worth winning this game I'd say. Guess if the winning club was the club that has organised the entertainment for GF night they will be paying in full on Monday!! ;)

You assume that neither team will lose a game in the last three rounds ;)

Agree. Being minor premiers doesn't guarantee flag or promotion, but it's a HUGE advantage having the week off. Both teams will see this week's game as an opportunity to seal minor premiership, so it should be a cracker.

Agreed, but it would be rare for minor premiers to not get promoted. Bottom line is that both LFC and WCFC would see this week's game as being for much more than just "bragging rights"

thegreat thing and the reason i love reading these threads is the fact that i get to learn so much about the game of football by so many experts and people with an abundance of knowledge not only of the game but the tactics, mind games and planning and detail that normal coaches go into great pains, hours and hard work to learn and perfect.if only it was as easy and black and white as so many believe.

as with the reputation that the lodge used to have but have worked so hard and succeeded nin changing, west croydon are a totally different club with a totally different attitude towards footy and discipline.they are the bench marks of the league and your comments about them are old hat.and no my friend,i am in no way conected to them but have enjoyed watching this club, like the lodge ,finally grow up and stand for something that they can be proud of

No more feral than some other clubs that immediately spring to mind

I've been impressed by West Croydon this year. Matt Mcpherson has done a great job this year, on and off the field.
