Scout, very clever to mention the word "quichey" and "post" in the same sentence..

Yes, their coach was very gracious in victory...
...what a tool

How much bullsh*t can you squeeze into 24 hours? How appropriate that all those chipped shoulders can now bitch about one bloke under the same roof.
Victory lap? Nice sh*t-stir, but he walked part of the oval to tell supporters to come down and sing the song with us as reward for sticking by us in a tough season. And the jacket waving was for a laugh. We spoke about him doing it if we won last week, but he wasn't wearing it, so it was said he had to do it this week if we won. Some are taking themselves a little seriously. 'Outrageously stupid carry on', what a f*cking blow up.
SDemon you were right on the mark, this guy was also a TOOL he did the same thing at the end of the Trinity game.
Quichey... Your also right it was a laugh thats for sure! and he may not have been wearing his jacket for the Trinity game but he was able to borrow one cause he did the exact same thing at the end of the Trinity game yelling at us see what happens when you dont respect us??????
Sorry but do you seriouly think teams are going to come to any game going "wow i think we are going to get beaten today????" No matter what game you play you should be playing to win! If thats what you call cockiness then so be it!
As for Trinity not staying after the game and having a beer, after the carry on from the A's coach and the supporters it wasnt exactly welcoming. Houghton were the better team on the day in both the A's and the B's. I can only speak for myself but after the B grade game i went straight to the houghton reseves coach shook his hand and said well done. If respect is what you guys are after then maybe you should show some to receive some!
Trinity are usually more then happy to have a beer after the game.

Relax DQ. You can't honestly say it wasn't a little bit over the top - much like you chastised (or had a laugh at) Stubby for chest thumping a few weeks back?

I said it was a good laugh and noted that it would be a boring world if we all acted in a sterile manner (or something to that effect). I didn't carry on with vitriol for post after post.
Maybe the jacket-wave was a little too much for some fragile egos, but like FC said, it was a bit of fun, particularly for the home side as it was an in-house joke.

I'm not a sore loser. My team won by 221 points. If I wanted to be a sore loser i'd start going on about who was missing on saturday. But i won't, because the 21 selected should have still got the job done.
You blokes seem to have an excuse for everything. We only did that, cos you said this, and blah f*cken blah. Just face it, saturday's reaction was over the top by anyone's standards. Did anybody realise that it was a Round 12 game?![]()
The players played well and deserved to celebrate their unexpected win. No question about that. The aftermath was ridiculous and all it did was prove that success at Houghton is measured differently to anywhere else
