understood about no shame on buying a final. i dont know whom or what you have to do with the plympton bulldogs, myself being a player i know and talk to the board and president and know whats happening there. plympton wont fork out the money to buy a final. if this has changed in the past few days since i have spoken to the president then yes i will correct myself. what part of this arguement is pointless? im just mearly stating something.

Regardless of whether you can host it or not, if you're smart enough with your catering, you make the money back on the day anyway...zedman wrote:Bulldog wrote:zedman wrote:lol..there is no shame in buying a home final bulldog...if plympton were able to have a home final im sure they would pay for it..but they cant because of their beer choice..has nothing to do with who throws money around..i think your trying to take some sort of high moral ground and its a pointless argument..a home final is reward for the players and supporters who get your club to the finals

its pointless because wether you say you will pay for a final or you wont..you cant host a final anyway..you dont abide by the saafl rules re home finals and its beer of choice..thats why its pointless..and talk about scrooges, its a reward for your players and supporters, its only one gorilla, get smithy to give back his may match payments and you are set..
