True. But there is some merit in this system to making a GF as you get promoted.

I lost in a prelim in D7 to Henley and it hurt more than any other game I have been part of.

Funnily enough we got promoted anyway!

Congratulations to IF and AV on being promoted and playing off in the Grand final this weekend, should be a very physical and close game.

So they are the 2 going up, is it as straight forward as the bottom 2 in div 6 coming down? so Adelaide Uni and Mitchell Park? or with TTG folding are they the other team being "relegated" so MP hold their place in div 6?

Sorry if i am going over old ground

Who knows what might happen, has been a difficult year:

TTG withdrew from Div 6
Broadies withdrew from 7R
Smithfield removed - will they be granted entry again next season?
Will Ovingham in 8R field two sides and move up?
What if some of these C/D grade clubs drop back to just having a C grade side and entering the C grade comp?
Will marbles get his super C grade comp?
Could Ingle Farm field a D grade side and enter into Div 7? :P

How are MP in the relegation zone? don't forget TTG were originally in D6 so there was only 9 teams. The only ones going down are AU.

Logistically it better suits both parties, I would imagine that is why.

The cgrade super league can only occur if the league opts to have 9 teams and a bye for all comps from div 2 down to div 7

The saafl will hav to grow some massive balls to do it, but the old agrades playing cgrades will be gone for good

And having byes, the league as a result has 'vacancies' to invites more clubs to saafl such as brighton, marion or morphett vale :)

Continuing phantoms list...
Will houghton finally join a hills league? :)
Will north pines wanna go to div 8?
Will smosh & golden grove want a crack at div 7?
Will central united be relegated by defunk?

Probably so they can get back and watch their A grade teams play.

Well, so Henley can anyway..
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

No for 2 reasons. First Div 8 is a C & D grade division and those teams play with 25 each week. Second NO they wouldnt want to go to Div 8.
