Houghton wont cause many others problems now - they've just played and won their GF.

They are 2nd. 9 wins 3 losses.
I see Conway played and kicked 7 i think. Up forward must be the go for him, he never was much of a ruckman at Centrals.

How much bullsh*t can you squeeze into 24 hours? How appropriate that all those chipped shoulders can now bitch about one bloke under the same roof.

Victory lap? Nice sh*t-stir, but he walked part of the oval to tell supporters to come down and sing the song with us as reward for sticking by us in a tough season. And the jacket waving was for a laugh. We spoke about him doing it if we won last week, but he wasn't wearing it, so it was said he had to do it this week if we won. Some are taking themselves a little seriously. 'Outrageously stupid carry on', what a f*cking blow up.

And yes, perhaps the game was like a GF for us, but as relegation hangs over our heads, every game is like a final at the moment. Moreso when you play a side that created a rivalry for themselves with some members who conduct themselves with an air of cockiness and who openly casted animosity toward our coach and FD. Which is a shame, because the Hope Valley A-Grade is full of top blokes who were good enough to come up to the clubrooms for a drink after the game. These are the blokes who carry your club, who feel the disappointment more than anyone after such a loss, and who could probably do without the bitterness from certain parties. Good luck in the finals, lads.

After speaking to neutral observers, the consensus was the same, that it was a great day, a great game of footy, with a great atmosphere and some great laughs.

I don't think we expected to win, we spoke of regaining some pride and being more competitive before the game. But as Cab has said, it's great for him to be at a club with so much heart and soul, so much so that it has kept the playing group united and has culminated in sheer determination on game day, particularly for those fringe players who no one would pencil in as A-Graders.

Not out of the woods yet, but at least we're off the f*cking bottom.

Now excuse me, I have chicken for breakfast.

Isn't it funny how people forget............

It is ok for certain people to make smartass comments during preseason at the snakepit, anzac day and players mouthing off during and after the b grade game, but when we enjoy a good win as quichey explained people want to bitch and moan.

And the ones who bitch and moan dont have the balls to come up for a drink like a few of us did Anzac day.............

You can take the person out of West Croydon, but you can't take the West Croydon out of the person.

Good luck to you blokes for the rest of the season. One can only imagine the post game celebrations when you win your 4th game for the year...

As an outsider (and someone who doesn't know the history), I thought Saturdays game was fantastic, it had everything (and I had no camera :( ).

FWIW - I thought the jacketwave was a bit of fun, I didn't see anything in it..
