doesnt help when the soccer club also store their crap in there but we are at the mercy of the council on that one
Eddie is correct that the change rooms are being demolished and rebuilt plus they are upgrading the soccer club rooms spending about $600K and we got nothing
Have been heavily involved and stressed the point that the change rooms need to be big enough to sit 25 - whilst we would like the visitors to feel like they are at home , I havent been able to get them to build them as big as Thebarton's

95 and we are still paying off the extension loan from 1985 that the soccer club refinanced when they took over - go figure

yep the Macedonian's - they took over when we went broke in 95 and the council kicked us out - we took back the lease in about 2004
It does hurt us with junior footy in playing games on Sunday's as we have to work around their program but we are trying and am happy to report we have got a third side this year so we have 6, 8 & 10's - have to give a special mention to Lovestotalkfooty as him and his lovely wife have been the driving force behind the junior program

Almsot forgot to say a big thank you to Elizabeth on Sunday who organised their Under 6's & 8's to play our lads at half time
A great look watching about 40 odd kids run around and have a kick in front of a good crowd
Hope they all enjoyed the snag and can of coke afterwards as well

well played by heccies on the weekend. two goals in succession early in the last quarter was enough to break the game open.

cracking decision made by one ump in the 2nd quarter when he stopped play because he thought our player had stepped over the goal line. he was only about 20 meters away at the time with the goal ump within spitting distance of the palyer with the ball. once he'd stopped play he had no choice but to ball it up in their goal square even though we ahd cleared the ball the club room side

must win against the valleys this week. our b grade are coming together pretty well after an average round 1 performance. should be two good games down at thebbie.

When is your oval ready, sprint? Drove past today and it looked OK from the roadside. Grass cover didn't seem too bad. Is it worse close up?

Correct on that one WUB12 terrible, find out how bad Brahmas are when we play there later on. Ours aren't the best either, but better than Lutherans.

the whinge came from a guy who played in the one elizabeth team that won by 10 goals ,and i dont mean the under 6's, so guess it has more credence then!!
