As for next year, I prefer to let the results speak for themselves- who knows how anyone will go? Injuries, recruiting & other clubs performances in the same areas are all things beyond our control (except for our own recruiting).

You are right PR, time will tell.
IMO though, the jump from D5 to D4 is big. No disrespect to Fitzroy and Adel Lutheran, but in 2006 both these side were very ordinary. From what im told they didnt really recruit much this year either. Lutheran were obviously the stand out team for most of the year in D5. I would think both teams would have to recruit extensively to be a force in D4 in 2008.

Hard to tell Felchy my friend, Fitzroy and Lutheran may have been ordinary coming up the year before, but Para Hills and Mitcham came up from Div 5 last year and they went OK this year...

Yeah but they were exceptions to the rule i reckon. Both are strong clubs with strong A,B and C grades, and recruited intelligently.

one story from your close opposition, two blokes didnt get on very well and ended up in fisty(no pun intended) cuffs.... maybe some teeth got displaced
the other was about a club that didnt come through in the big one, lets say they wont be allowed back to the footy trip destination or should i say hotel...
not gospel but got it on from a good source!
