A good night on the track last night at Smithfield, 2 changes, the side looks well balanced and pretty strong, should be a great game, hopefully the conditions are good so both teams can put on a display.

I hope your right Bulldog...... Plympton seem to be a club that has worked hard after dropping a few divs since I played them last and we beat them in a div 4 res GF a few years ago and there guys were great after the game after a loss. GG have worked for nothing and deserve nothing

He should check his facts tho because in 2004-2005 Modbury FC were given $60 grand !! Lets not beat around the bush here... all clubs need assistance from government and councils to maintain their facilities... is this forum going to become a big sook about who got what ?? Yes we have no clubrooms and yes we received a grant from the government but to say we deserve nothing reeks of unintelligence...Lets just play the bloody game hey...

Yes we recieved some money which pales into insignificance compared to the how many million GG cried for 5 years over!!!!! After all we had established ourselves and worked hard to pay off our own debt. Its not only the money thing or sour grapes, i have other reasons for disliking GG and as i said before when i played Plympton they very mucha working mans club like ours and i wish them well.

Anyway ive said my bit finals footy is here and all grades look like having an even finals series and GG would have to be red hot favs(due to scudds, mitchell, sparnon ex hawks   )

Good Luck to all(including GG)

I just think you aren't affording GG the luxury of time that these older clubs have had.... When we get rooms I'll be the first one to buy you a beer there..

And yes bring on the finals. We look forward to playing Modbury on Sunday. I have a few old mates playing in that D grade team and look forward to having a berr with them after the game.

Golden Grove v Plympton

Not much to say here as its not a knockout final like smithies and greenies. I have said all year GG are the best team in the comp and this week they will show it. With the weeks break they will be super primed to come out on their home deck and do the business. Plympton are worthy opponents and had a good game in the second rd v GG at plympton. Smith being a star that day but there was an omission from the GG team who will be back tomorrow..the gorilla..imo he will be the difference and whilst the attention goes onto him the other classy fwds GG have will flourish.

Golden Grove 41-50

How do you guys know teams in advance? Is it on iscore?

Don't forget, Greenies kicked 9.20 to 17.4 probably won't be that unlucky twice in a row.

Get enough rain and I think the Red Dogs are a much better chance!!

I can't see Greenies losing again rain, hail, snow or sun.

That would be the logical option. Maybe they need to realise that not payin the players anythin, with pretty piss poor incentives, they will not suceed much past Div 5. Ever!
