Whatever.
Maybe they should be playing A1 footy at 40+
Farms Bs weren't up to it. So what.
Win another game and they can have another crack.
You don't get promoted on the B grade finishing top two.

As a neutral bystander I was surprised at three quarter time of the div 7R listening to the coach from Angle Vale call out " Get dirty and raise the elbows and let them know they played Angle Value". Especially since the game was over at this point. Not a good advertisement of the great game.

Probably why Angle Vale will forever languish in the lower divisions......

Good team effort from our lads today, after leaving it up to too few in recent weeks. A good time to break the drought and find form.

All that matters is Rowe Park is alive and rocking tonight!! :supz: :partyman: :partyman:

That's major goal number 1 officially ticked off, now to knuckle down focus and bring back some much needed overdue success to the farm!

From what I saw of Angle Vale, I think today was a Grand Final preview, and I think the margin of the GF will be closer still than today!

How'd Para Hills go today? Difference between Farmers B grade and Para Hills is we get another crack next week to rectify our performance and earn another shot at a good Henley outfit.

Henley were too good, it's as simple as that, but fortunately we get the chance to hit the track hard this week, focus on some key areas and then work our arses off to hopefully earn the right to play against them again. They didn't finish top for no reason.

Just for the record PG when did the Farmers win their last A grade Pennant. I have to go back far into the past when I ((i.e. Burnside Bombers) played against them when from memory they wore the vertical Green and White strip.

This has been discussed a fair bit throughout the year FRED. I'm not going to go into details, but there would probably only be 2-3 playing below their level, and this is mostly due to either work commitments or coming late to the season and playing the same amount of games in the C's as the D's. Not sure how it's unfair, the average age of the group would be 30+ im sure. Keep in mind that your B grade is only two grades higher than this D grade.

Nothing probably came of it, but their runner tends to stay on the ground and 'coach' and also runs water, which are both against the rules.

Correct.

Best of luck to the Farmers in 2 weeks. They have been through alot the past 3-4 years and experienced many lows. Good to see it was a short stay in D7 and hopefully its the start of their rise back up the divisions.

Thanks Valleys. The club has certainly been through some tough times over the past years but hopefully things are on the up. There's certainly a good feeling around the place at the moment and fingers crossed we can take it out in two weeks time for all the people who have stuck by the club.

As for yesterday, full credit to Angle Vale. They had a fair decent crack and the game was played in great spirits. Well done guys.
