Rumour circulating that Howe is not playing. Could be started by Pooraka themselves though !!!

his old man is very ill in hospital, it was said his game against nhfc was his last until his man passes. spending some time with his brother and mum at the hospital with dad. any pooraka boys online, have not heard any news from frog or jed. how is terry going???

seen in todays paper that his father has passed away that would be why he is not playing. condolences to him and his family. GO YOU BULLS

was lucky enough to watch Tom Lipson & Rory Deurdan kicking the winning goals yesterday for Havens, havent seen a crowd under the tree that happy since the days of Rick Butterworth, Brush & co. Great celebration by Rory after a cracker!

Best umpiring of the year bahahahaahahahahahaahahah
i dont understand how umpires can not no the basics of umpiring???
if a player gets hit whilst attempting to mark
a ball its a free kick not a free kick + 25
last 5 minutes was a discrase!

blatant cheating comes to mind. Is it true the umpires went into havens rooms before the game and told them to watch themselves and not to get reported today??

spoke to their coach and the umpires walk in and only said to them watch your punches or you'll go. did the umpires turn up to this game with the with the belief that cash haven are all thugs, after the soft 8 game suspension from tynte st last week, and the way i'm hearing is that they umpired the game that way. pinging them for everything. also at the bar the president from cash haven heard one of the umpires go to the cbc coach and say i'd nearly got you over the line!!!

Surely something has to be done about this sort of behaviour from umpires. From what i saw on the sidelines the umpires went to the game with a biased view on the way they were going to umpire the game and pinged haven for every thing they could. I'd love to know when the new rule change came in that didnt allow players to even talk to the maggots without giving away a 25m penalty. I dont know how some of these things can even look themselves in the mirror

A bit of reality check for us on the weekend, against a very good side. We had a real crack at them, and were not far off them for 3 quarters. Pooraka's midfield were excellent, and gave their forwards great delivery. They seemed to get their goals alot easier than us, and Coles was sensational at full forward. Anton Railey carved us up, especially in the first half, and the 2 rovers, Pead and Karpany were excellent too. We matched their intensity and hardness, but were a fair way off their skills and footy-smarts.

Look out when they get Howe back !!!

I don't normally like to bag umpires too much as they have a tough job to do.................So I won't use the word 'CHEATING" but it was very close to that in the Haven V CBC game.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

three very good wins to paoc on saturday in tough games that as a club we had really braced ourselves for. massive game in the a grade this week, 2nd vs 3rd. north haven on their own dungheap would start favourites you would think, as not too many of our players would have played down there before, let alone know where the oval is!

I really don't want to harp on about the umpiring but the perfromance on the weekend, especially by one umpire in particular was the worst I have ever seen. From the minute he gave his little speech about fighting before the game you new he had one thing in mind. Several CBC players commented that the umpires were giving them everything. It was so bad, I seriously am questioning whether playing football is even worth it anymore, with the league and the umpiring being so deliberatly and obviously bias.

They are very impressive. Against us it was paradiso that did all the damage, too fast for our midfield. I would have them as favourites for top spot now. With Nth Haven and Portland fighting for 3rd place. Anything can and will happen in the finals though.

they would be favourites to finish top but they are very vulnerable to injuries
there B's were terrible, didnt want the ball all game and five mnutes to go in last quarter thought they would try and fight!
if they got 5 or 6 injuries in A's would be trouble at pooraka
i only seen maybe 3 blokes that were capable of coming up from the B's to fill the void!!!!
get on board the thunder train!!!
