No doubt there is players that can play higher, but the C3 side isnt easy to break into. Trust me, I would know, I played 2 years at FPFC and played mainly C6, the C3 coach didnt want to pick me, so i went up between D2R and C6. Any player below 30 in my opinion shouldnt dictate where they play, I can see where veterans (like the cows, he is all but a pensioner), can say they just want to play C grade or below to stick around the club, I have no beef there, but the thought of young lads dictating where they play is ridiculous. And unless I read it wrong, whoever from GGFC suggested that Flinders would stack there side this week against them is ludicrous, I know I may come under scrutiny here because this forum is 97.4% Golden Grovers, but if you think along the lines that Flinders care enough about your club to stack there C6 side, you need to pull your head out of you deriere ASAP..

Huge anticipation for the top of the table clash against FP this wkend. We will be going into the game nearly full strength and would imagine it will be a "finals type" game. Also good luck to our C's who have hit some good form of late and have a huge challenge against the flag faves but think they will atone themselves v well!!

It could even come down to one missed shot at goal or letting one through! I would say that PAOC and SPOC are in the finals now but interested to see who the 5th spot will go to? ML looked good when we played them and we have SMOSH and Salisbury over the next two weeks which will indicate to me where they are at. I initially thought Salisbury might sneak in but now I think ML are the ones that will get there.

Old Dog think you'll find Brett "Juggies" Elsworthy is celebrating is 200th this wkend. Should be a big crowd up at the Burra Dome to help Elsy get a win in his milestone game. Great club man and let's hope the D's have a win for him!!
