That would be Les and Shaun? They were also in talks with Kilburn?

I know its early to predict this but fair dinkum I'll eat my hat if Gepps Cross dont win this years flag. McLeans add more to an already damaging on ball brigade, Hudson in the ruck will be an improvement on peterson (due to his body failing him) with support from Challen, have heard of some other quality recruits also. I know they have lost a couple however I think the guys they have picked up more than make up for that. Just need to entice Scott Klenner back out of retirement....

Chris & Michael McLean are heading from Willaston to Gepps Cross. Shaun & Les Baker are at Willaston but aren't 100% staying there yet.

Henley only losing Duncan and picking up a swarm of Eagles players would appear difficult to beat again this year.
Could they eventually do it and make it. Just seem to always get knocked out in straight sets. Seem a bit frail under
the presssure of finals but a sensational side during the Minor Round. Good tussle between them and Gepps X for
Favourite you would think. Get on those Sharks in 2009 - the hoodo might be broken I think and a Premiership maybe

Pretty hard to get a new influx of players to gel with the rest of the group as will happen at Henley this year....Gepps have a very solid core group of players that have been there for a good few years now and have added some more quality. Will be interesting.

Very quiet at the Rams. They might have lost one or two quality players but I have heard a couple of 'unkown' recruits might sneak under the radar. They have been lured to Gepps by one of the Rams best players, they may be related in fact, and I think they may be sensational recruits.

Here's hoping.

Steven Hall had a huge number of new players last year and made them all gel, so maybe not that hard. The guys he
is getting are all hardened League Footballers not kids or Amateur players. These guys are pros so Hall has a fair base
to work with and to get players to gel might not be a problem. Certainly was not last year when they picked up 12 or 14

Think that you have been a bit harsh on Henley for a few years No Mercy. This side this year will go close. You always
have an axe to grind with Henley. You Watch - The Sharks will circle in 2009. Unlucky with injuries last year and the
only reason the Sharks probably did not take out the Flag. Only Gepps can get close to stopping the Sharks next year.
If the Sharks did not have injuries would have gone all the way in 08. Gepps, Sals Nth or Goodwood would not have stopped them

No shark net any year there mate. Just bad luck thats all. Cant have all the injuries the Sharks have had and win Premierships over the years. You need luck to win flags and the Sharks have not had any for 3 years. Only time the Sharks
had any luck and went forward was when Hodges in charge. He had some luck. Injuries and only Injuries have stopped a flag since then

Yes a closet fan of course. Played A1 until going down South and big fan of Henley as I am of many clubs around
the Amateur League. Should I come to live back in Adelaide a great club like them with good social life and good
facilities would be a first choice of me playing at. Maybe next year or the year after pending on work situation.
Many good clubs in Amateur League, they are just one I really admire. Spent close on 6 years in the Competition
