Thats coz you never went anywhere near the showers Felch

I used to clean mine in the Rivvies showers

Anyway, the plumber is back tomorrow to go through the whole place, so the lads from Mitcham will have some nice clean warm changerooms

the change rooms were a disgrace when Portland arrived, couldn't be from the 15 other teams you've been going on about who use the oval and its impossible to not drag mud into those change rooms when they play in that swamp

There lies your problem, most footy clubs are full of blokes with trades behind them - plumbers, sparkies, etc. I know ours is.

Lawyers, accountants, etc know sweet fa about keeping a changeroom up and going. ;)

Just went and checked out the changerooms Fisty

When I work out how to transfer this photo from my phone to the puter; a picture tells a thousand words

The reason they couldn't see the drain hole was 3 inches of mud in the shower drain.

The entire floor is covered in mud and one of the blokes said he had to drain the sink traps on Saturday because they were full of mud from people cleaning their boots in the sink

Cleaners go through it every Friday

I turned on the hot water service and there was hot water within 10 minutes

So, I'd repeat what I said before - get your blokes to clean their boots in the shower at home and:

1. We wont have a problem with our drains
2. They can face their mum's instead of bitching on here

not so sure this is all true jimmy i was there before the B grade game and the showers were already in this state, secondly as you know jimmy i was stranded at the ground as my lift got sick of me talking to you so left on me, i ended up getting a lift with our trainer and an old bloke that is pretty much the team manager and before we left they swept the changerooms and as the older bloke (ronny tanner) was a plumber back in his day he even tryed to unblock the drains unsuccessfully, hence why i got talking to Teaoby while they were cleaning, so unless someone has used those rooms since there should be no mud on the floor as i witnessed there was nothing

I think not having big or beautiful changerooms is a fact of playing away and every team has to put up with it.

Spot on. Part of havign 'home advantage' is home changerooms. It is amateur league remember.

In the same way playing at footy park with 40,000 screaming crows fan creates a hostile environment, being a in a cramped, somewhat uncomfortable changeroom has the same effect.. So long as they're clean and what not when the first away team rocks up, which appears not to be the case on the weekend.

Has definately taken the focus off the loss though, well done Portland boys ;)
