also we are a club trying to move forward, best way to do that is get out of div 7, if it takes money then so be it...it would be hard to get out of div 7 w]if you dont pay anyone, where paying players now who will play higher grade footy for us in the future

Scotty whatever I say you will just deny it so there is no point.
I don't reckon those southern boys would have come down here for peanuts.

This is old ground Scotty but how do you know these guys will stick around?
Paul Crichton has moved around a lot I also thought Ben wasn't going to play there next year cos he was sick of being scragged week in week out by taggers? (serious question)

bc wont leave the club. loves the club mate, also these taggers havnt done a great job, he won the medal by so much its stupid...serious mate if we are paying them so much let me know who and how much they are on...

its just like me questioning why horse would play for saint pauls?

What's Horse got to do with it?
He's been at the club since it started mate not for 1 season like your mob.

I think you need to know some background before using horse in your arguement scotty.

Riddler saw that you guys are looking for a coach next season. Has Horse stood down or you just have to advertise?

think he stood down mate (again)
dont think he will be talked into it again!
too much time and effort with not enough support
but anyway thats div 7 is

St Pauls proved when we lost to clg by 2 points and wingfield by under a kick twice that we could play
just cant turn on and off though!

Who are you to ? why horse plays for st pauls?
ask myself the same ? sometimes!

prob cos horse played for the club for 10 years virtually from its inception
went away for 3 years while they where 1 side (dont think he was going to play div10) and as soon as they had 2 sides back up and running went straight back!
Now if anyone at all from your mob has the same loyalty as horse let me know cos then i will say your club or the individual has earnt your/his premiership
until then to me it is bought by dollars
And buying a div 7 prem is not much to rave bout!

Its a hot topic paying-buying players and everyone has a different opinion. I think that CLG have "speed" things along and rushed alot of Players into their side and won a flag but i cant see the problem in that they now have move up and im sure players have taken notice of their result and will wont to play for them next season.

They have the core they wont be paying players anymore outside of this years side and Im positive that a couple have showed interest for next year. They wont leave a winning side and also werent the Southern players all fringe A and B graders anyways????

my sources tell me shane cooke from flagstaff hill is unhappy where he is at the moment and has been talking to a few boys from CLG??? if its true that would be a tremendous pick up for the club, would just add to the teams long list of strength and depth, how much are you guys looking to offer?
