Interesting big-whopper, Im aware of the situation you are talking about, the bloke who im sure you are referring too is a good mate of mine, which intrigues me as to how we havent crossed paths yet? Always 2 sides to every story but from what I can gather its a situation that started minor that escalated quickly, and IMO the club has probably over reacted slightly, but thats there call

Any chance the club can sort through the differences in the best interests of all parties?

As far as ive heard a clearance has been approved. Dont quote me on that though

No, he can train, one of the more reliable trainers. I reckon in his first year he never missed a single training session.

Hughie put in a transfer request and it has been duly approved. Anything else I could add would only be hearsay.

Hughy only put in a transfer request after the club president texted him would you believe, not a phone call, saying that he wouldn't be considered in any grade for the forseeable future and they recommend he finds a new club while the clearance window is open..
