Smithfield should be to good for the Blacks IMO...players and supporters may well be in for a long day.
The B grade game out at Hicks Park may be a fizzer as I heard Rosewater had to cancel training Tues due to lack of numbers...can anyone confirm this???
Probably not the best side hey turk, you boys were out played out bodied and out classed you looked pretty flat and ordinary all day, hey atleast there is still next week.
To all the blackfriars boys, gee wiz so close you boys must of had heaps of injuries to go down like that, but hey there is always next year
Why must have they had heaps of injuries, they lost by 8 goals three weeks ago at the same ground.
i'll be honest LM....the day u beat us by 8 goals we were undermanned. yesterday it was pretty much full strength, it was shattering. apparently there was 90 secs left wen u guys got the point so if our kicker didnt run over the line it could of been interesting 90 secs, once that happend it wa sall over. well done on the win
Cheers mate, I felt for him. Mossy's mark will go down as a big memory for the club, it was very Nick Riewoldt like at a crucial stage of the game, he's a good finisher too.
I thought we played pretty poorly during the day, we couldn't hit targets and turned the ball over continuously, this was largely due to the pressure you guys applied all day. We were 24 points up at qtr time, 9 at half, 21 at 3/4 and obviously evens at full time. For a club that is in it's 3rd season, you showed amazing character and I can't praise your efforts enough, good luck next year and I'm sure you'll be a force in div. 5 again.
I'd like to mention that Lucas Brown unfortunately wont be taking part in the finals action this year, he broke his leg last time we played Blackfriars, mind you, he didn't find out til a couple of days later that it was broken, he has been an inspiration for the team this season and left a big a hole to fill with his work rate around the ground.
Rob Parrish is a very gifted player, his kicking is exceptional, 60 metre passes and hitting his team-mates on the chest, it was great to watch.
