Don't worry bout being a coach, Zed you should be a clairvoyant. That karma you were going on about to the Blackfriars camp (The div 5 writer) honestly could not have stung any harder than that. Might have another career on the cards...........

Smithfield should be to good for the Blacks IMO...players and supporters may well be in for a long day.

The B grade game out at Hicks Park may be a fizzer as I heard Rosewater had to cancel training Tues due to lack of numbers...can anyone confirm this???

Probably not the best side hey turk, you boys were out played out bodied and out classed you looked pretty flat and ordinary all day, hey atleast there is still next week.
To all the blackfriars boys, gee wiz so close you boys must of had heaps of injuries to go down like that, but hey there is always next year

Great game at Smithfield oval yesterday, BOS were excellent, they refused to give in all day, took the lead in extra time only to have it taken back off of them in the last minute or so. I've never heard such a loud cheer for a behind.

Why must have they had heaps of injuries, they lost by 8 goals three weeks ago at the same ground.

well done by smithfield yesterday on hosting the final and having everything ticking along. good crowd there and a fantastic game of footy in both grades.

as for the results, the b's just couldn't get in front all day but kept having a crack right to the end and the a's down pretty well all day but courageous to keep fighting right to the end. those 5 minute extra time periods were like 30 seconds. it was heartbreaking in the end but very proud of all the lads, thats the way it goes. a gutsy turnaround from 3 weeks ago out there.

looking forward to 2009 already. good luck to those left in the finals, looks very interesting.

i'll be honest LM....the day u beat us by 8 goals we were undermanned. yesterday it was pretty much full strength, it was shattering. apparently there was 90 secs left wen u guys got the point so if our kicker didnt run over the line it could of been interesting 90 secs, once that happend it wa sall over. well done on the win

yeah hounds i figured u were undermanned 3 weeks ago cause there a few players out there i didnt see a few weeks ago. definately right in saying those 5 minutes each way felt like 30 seconds. great last quarter from u guys and u probably would have won hadnt the final siren went. we were lucky the break gave us a chance to settle ourselves. Great effort from u guys and i think we were a bit lucky in the end to get out of jail but now theres another week. i think when i had a set shot in the first period of extra time was one of the more nervous feelings ive had so i could imagine how nervy it was for parrish and mossy having their set shots in the last few minutes.

you guys were to unsettled turk, to many changes..im sure that has been rudely awakended to them now and some cobwebs brushed off with that finals hit out, plus plympton are a very good team this year and no shame to lose to them but i think you may make up for the loss this week but we will see later in the week ;)..you had plenty of ball from the scoring shots..just have to get the machine back running, all oiled up and pistons firing :)..i would expect sharp sessions all week..lots of voice and positivity..smithfield will be coming with nothing to lose and on a big high..another good game on the cards

Hey Mighty Hounds, what are you doing putting posts on here at 2:45pm today anyway? Shouldn't you be with your team mates consoling each other/celebrating the season with a sherbet or two?
