I was going to go out and watch this game tomorrow except now I have to be at Payneham for the Heccies final :(

I'd love North Haven to get up, but their past finals record would suggest otherwise... hopefully i'm wrong...

north haven might relish the oppurtunity to be the underdog on the weekend!!
i wouldnt mind seeing them get up!!

Pooraka weren't together for the first half of the year, and they had a draw the second time around at North Haven. They haven't exactly been blown out of the water.

North Haven have one win, one draw and three losses from their last 5 games. Pooraka have 4 wins and a draw, including beating Mitcham last week. So form line suggests Pooraka. It's at Lindblom Park, so location suggests Pooraka.

Pooraka by 4-5 goal.

can definitely tell you that's what it was, one of the best wins for the club in that situation especially in a final, for a long time.....
last time mitcham's big men did alot of damage but went missing when needed.

Pooraka were good against Nth Haven on the weekend in a good game. Scores suggest Bulls won easy but they only kicked away in the last 10min before that they were only up by about 9pts. Good to see colesy back for pooraka he could be the key to them winning more finals games.

It starts at 7. Goodwin is my pick tonight as well. Matt Thomas from Unley will get alot of second and third preferences and will be up there too.

Heater, I think what won us the game on Saturday was seriously just playing at Salisbury. Mitcham were good for 3 and a half quarters, were 15 points up half-way through the last, and ran out of steam. It's happened a lot on our oval this year, teams run themselves into the ground with all the space and size and they die towards the end. We kicked the last 5 or 6 and ran over the top of them. Did the same to Para Hills and went down by 3 points. North Haven were up by a few goals in the last quarter against us as well and we kicked the last 3 or 4 and went down by a kick.

They can say they choked, but running laps around that sized oval all year actually counts for something in the last half of a last quarter.

I tend to agree pag a club with experience on large grounds will always play them better than teams who don't. I did think that Salisbury oval would have been an advantage but I didn't want to say it to their faces
