But clubs still want/need a 16 to 18 game season so the last 3 rounds, that are in effect "classification rounds' for the top 4 and bottom 4, can still change ladder position for the top 4, but also keep some of the bottom 4 interested with the battle for 5th spot. Some very good lateral thinking by the AdFL in coming up with this model.

That being said if (big if) it happened it would be huge down this way, Id go along as a neutral and Im sure many others would also. Probably get more than the SFL GF!

It would, sadly it's not the clubs - its the "neutrals" that need to be considered.. an EP v SAL grand final in Lizbeff would attract every man and his dog within a 15km radius.. and plenty that would be on the cans early and all day.
