Wouldn’t get too excited, Para Hills were all over Ingle Farm in the 1st half, until injuries to key players curbed their momentum.

They’ll be hard to beat end of year.

Definitely game of 2 halves...para hills in the 1st and ingle farm turned things around 2nd half with some.good ball movement...para hills would be dissapointed with the end result but no bench for the entire second half hurt them and a.couple of players to come back in....wouldnt be taking the $1.20 just yet...round 4 doesn't win you the flag....

Couldn’t agree more.

Must say though, regardless of the scores / results, thought yesterday was a wonderful display and atmosphere of what local footy should be like, and the value local clubs can provide for the community. The Para Hills supporters came out in huge numbers, as did the Ingle Farm supporters. It’s a great sight seeing so many people at local footy - and (as far as I’m aware) no dramas from either supporter groups. Beautiful weather, and a lot of really good footy across all three grades, despite the score lines.

Haven’t seen a C grade game like yesterday in a long time, pretty fast for that grade and goal for goal all day.

Look forward to the return bout at the paddocks later in the season.

Ladder after Rd 4:
6 - Ingle Farm
6 - Flinders University
6 - Para Hills
6 - Houghton
4 - OSB Lonsdale
--------------------------------
2 - Mitchell Park
2 - Hackham
0 - Mawson Lakes

Round 5:
Mawson Lakes v Ingle Farm
Para Hills v Mitchell Park
Hackham v Houghton
OSB Lonsdale v Flinders University

Danger games all-round this weekend. Forecast wet, windy, cold conditions will challenge sides in the top half who play quite fast paced-attacking football. Conditions will level the playing field, and certainly wouldn't write off any of the bottom 4 sides knocking off the top 4 sides.

Victories for the lower ranked sides will be super critical this season given majority of clubs look quite similar.

Mawson Lakes a weird ground to play at, no atmosphere and often very windy will challenge Ingle Farm. Darren King will be up and about, the veteran midfielder will relish the conditions, whilst Johnny McClounan after kicking his first career goal after a million games will be hoping to continue having an impact forward.

I'd expect recruit Jake Finch to return to the lineup against one of his former clubs, and Jayden Lu has done enough to recapture an A grade spot. Will still be missing Tonkin and Vandenbrink through suspension, but should have enough cattle to test the Farmers.

Mitchell Park up the road at the Paddocks will have their work cut out for them, but will be better than they were a couple weeks ago at ingle Farm. Thomson might get the first crack at Weetra, but suspect Walczak will be the best match up.

Kluth will have his work cut out going head to head with Matt Travis, and would expect Para Hills to use Schroeter to expose Cribbs lack of work rate.

Tassell vs Mo Keita in the ruck will be pivotal, but i'd be backing the former Fitzroy utility to expose Tassell around the ground.

Can you comment on the rumor that Mawson Lakes have approached Brahma Lodge about a merger?

Ladder after Rd 5:
8 - Ingle Farm
8 - Para Hills
8 - Flinders University
8 - Houghton
4 - OSB Lonsdale
------------------------------

2 - Mitchell Park
2 - Hackham
0 - Mawson Lakes

Round 8
Mawson Lakes v Mitchell Park: Lions should collect win number 2 for the season against bottom ranked Mawson Lakes. A victory will propel them back into the top grouping.

Houghton v OSB Londsale: Hard to go past Houghton at home who are ticking along nicely and only percentage off top. Can really stamp claims on a top 3 spot.

Flinders University v Para Hills: Will be viewing this game with great interest, two sides expected to be around the mark end of year when the whips are cracking. The winner gains a game buffer on the other which could be critical by end of the season.

Hackham v Ingle Farm: Danger game for the Farmers following a one sided match on the weekend, the Hawks were not far off the pace against Houghton on the weekend, 3rd quarter proving the difference. A win for Hackham could really bring the div to life.

D7R Ladder after Round 5:
10 - Ingle Farm
08 - Houghton
06 - Para Hills
06 - Flinders Uni
06 - Mitchell Park

------------------
02 - OSB Lonsdale
02 - Hackham
00 - Mawson Lakes

Without being disrespectful to the bottom 3, it's hard to see the top 5 missing finals. The bottom 3 will collect key wins along the way over the season, but just cant see them winning enough games to dislodge any of the sides above them.

Still has Flinders Uni and Mawson Lakes to come in the 1st round of matches, would expect him to fill his boots vs Mawson Lakes.

62 goals for the 100.. 12 minor round games + likely minimum 2 finals = around 4.5 goals per game.

Quality player.

Looking at PlayHQ a Salisbury North junior and A Grade player who has been at Para Hills since 2018 for 73 games and 286 goals.

Had stints at Angle Vale (1 season) and Port Adelaide (under 16’s) too
