Always read stuff on here about "we had 2378512127817893 blokes at pre season training" etc. Some bloke from hope valley (div 6 i think?) said they had 75 plus out there. I doubt anyone would have that many, bar Adelaide Uni.

Obviously won't make any comments on the SMOSH situation ATM.

DIV 5 actually and yes we did have 70+ out for the first training and then another 60 odd last night. So doubt all you like mate... We were all extremely surprised to see this many out on the track, hopefully the hard work pays off.

Pretty sure we could have all four sides in grand finals, and we still wouldn't have 70 on the track.

But yeah Tom Nicholls would be the red hot favourite.

If they gave the job to the old B grade coach, i'd probably move to Portland. No doubt most would do similar Schimma?

If all 4 sides are playing in a grand final then you should have at least 80 on the track I would have thought...

Yeah that was me. I learnt to count to 100 when i was younger, so unless they've changed something, I'm pretty sure there were 70+ blokes there. 76 to be exact, so doubt away  It is a lot for a first training run in November and took everyone by surprise. We didn't even pump up the new footy's because we didn't think we'd need them. The numbers will grow after Xmas with a lot of blokes coming out who simply refuse to train before Xmas

So are you saying as many as 18 blokes at your club would get a game in a Grand Final without training? They would have to have pretty good excuses. Or is that just a reflection of your C grade & star studded D grade sides' training habits?

Who's the coach of seaton. Thought Marshall would put his hand up considering he coached the b's to a flag. Any word on whether he is playing on in 2011
