He has played forward for most of the year, but has gone back on occasions. We have to look after the old bugger.

I agree, he is a great full back. Kept Fitzroy's Benny Hart goal-less on 2 occasions in 2006, i dont think thats get done too often. Makes his opponent earn every kick, just ask Rowdy - he had one of the best cauliflower-ears i have ever seen, courtesy of Cocksy.

Was that the day Rowdy kicked 7 on Portlands best full back in history :D IMO he must not be fit otherwise he'd be playing backs, just as well he kicking a few sausages otherwise could be in the magoos. Pretty hard to drop club legends though.

Andrew "Nimbus" Moran is another who also does a good job on Harty, for memory kept him to 2 or less in the past 5 years.

As for team of the year Matt thomas could play CHB also. shoe-ins for havens- Watts, Dempsey, Forrest, Wareing (if plays on)
also Lucky Dog had a good year. Saying that I'm usually drunk by half-time :D

Maybe you could be coach of the best "First Half" Team of the Year.
Rowdy has informed me that he never kicked less than 5 against Poorland and loved it when Coxy came strolling down to stand him.

Rowdy was too quick for Cocksy though - he plays more like a flanker than a full forward. He was a better match-up on big, stronger types like Robbo. Where is he playing by the way ?

Gees felch you have way to much time on your hands. Well Rowds is retired and you know what they say, the goals get longer and the bags get bigger.

We have tonight off training, some of the guys are going away for the weekend. Nothing official organized though, we have been training since January so everyone is looking forward to the break.

Pub, piss and the punt. The perfect weekend. Wouldn't be surprised if there were injuries to come out this weekends bye. North Haven are notorious for getting injuries away from the footy field.

i'm hearing from a good source at tynte st that pultney are up to their old tricks again,(no videos this time) putting in a report to tynte st ( having a cry ) and tynte st are sitting up waiting to pounce. apparently a few games back one of their players got hurt in a behind the play incident and now are making a formal complaint. they are saying that he has been hurt very bad ( maybe at the nightclub that night) and have no-one to blame, so they have to blame someone. and they are going full throttle after him. maybe wanting to sue to pay the college bill

What team was it against that the 'alleged' incident happened?

their old foe $ca$$$hhaven. goodl luck cash haven your are going to need it up at tynte st, pity there is no state game for the player in question he might get of like a higher division player did the other week!!!!

Reminds me of a few years ago Seaton V Districts game, Dist's J Baldissera, John Wilson's love child, ducked his head as a Seaton player was approaching to tackle. you duck your head your asking for trouble, thats what he did & got a broken jaw because of it, if he took the tackle without ducking he would of been fine.
When Wilson & Co over reacted to the incident, the Amateur League had no hesitation in reporting him, the guy was a little reckless i must admit in the tackle yet it looked worse because Baldy ducked, anyway because their was a state game coming up & the captain Baldy was no show of playing & by Dr Wilson's evidence he'd be out for 10, the tribunal turned around & gave the Seaton player 10 games.
By the way Baldy missed 5 games, he was suppose to be out for 10, he was the Amateur Leagues little darling!
The Seaton player was hung :Hangman: before he got to give evidence.

Some would say Baldy had it coming, he was very good a giving it out but shit he could play. John Wilson - look up amateur in the Oxford and there's a picture of him

the simple message is...... Don't belt blokes behind the play and you won't be hauled over the coals. How f***ing hard is that to get through some people's thick skulls who pull on a jumper for a game of footy.

what a crock of sh*t bucketts. JUST BECAUSE YOU CROSS A WHITE LINE AT 2PM EACH SATURDAY AFTERNOON DOES NOT MAKE YOU EXEMPT FROM THE LAWS OF SOCIETY. That doubles for actions that seriously injure other people
