Phin on a wing and JR Thomas on a half back flank (both PAOC boys), these two have been very strong (especially Phinny...tall, fast, strong, good skills...think birdman ha ha  )

Matt Hood, huh. I would have thought to be in a team of the year you would want to have a bit of work ethic in you. Laziest footballer ever seen.

Rory Duerdin has only played about 2 or 3 games. Has had a mysterious back injury for awhile now and continues to be sidelined. On paper quality pick up, in reality waste of money.

Soky is a class act. Neate would be competing with alot of others for a pocket though - Waltham, Millar from Pulteney, Stanford from Mitcham etc. How would you fit all them, plus Forrest, Thomas, Byrne, Howe, Moore all in a forward line.

Leading Goal Kickers
1 Byrne, Ryan 47 @ 5.9
2 Forrest, Leigh 37 @ 5.3
3 Thomas, Matthew 33 @ 4.7
4 Millar, Ben 31 @ 3.9
5 Neate, Oliver 31 @ 5.2

I would have Neate in my forward line

Im not saying Neate cant play, and he has kicked his goals in a side that has lost majority of games. But i would have Forrest FF, Byrne CHF. Thomas would then have to play in a pocket. Howe is in great form, and is a class player, so he gets a spot too. Neate could scrape in, on the pine

Haha, i rated him ahead of our forwards...

He gets a chance in a couple of weeks to show what he has, he kicked 6 last time i think.

He has played forward for most of the year, but has gone back on occasions. We have to look after the old bugger.

I agree, he is a great full back. Kept Fitzroy's Benny Hart goal-less on 2 occasions in 2006, i dont think thats get done too often. Makes his opponent earn every kick, just ask Rowdy - he had one of the best cauliflower-ears i have ever seen, courtesy of Cocksy.

If the match-up suits, he will play there for sure. In hindsight, he should have played on Hart in round 1 - he wouldnt have kicked 8 if he did.

He hasnt been 100% injury wise either. He will be cherry-ripe after the break though.

He is a chance, as i said though, depends on the match-ups. We get another 3 tall-ish backman back aswell, so he may stay forward. Played well there against Unley, kicked 3.

they dont get a chance to rate anyone at north haven or in the div as there not there long enough. Cant see Wattsy going anywhere anytime soon though. You guys have had a fair turnover aswell, not that well informed but I would say you would have had more coaches than us since 2001. We have had three not including Wattsy.
