Well played by Lockleys A grade yesterday. Worked much harder, played as a team and controlled the game from start to finish. It was shame to end the season with the worst performance for the year but often you only play as well as your opposition allows you to.

Well that’s annoying.

Seems a bit silly to be forced to play miles away from both locations just because of traditions and that the A Graders like the dew to be kicked off.

Whaddya reckon WOS B graders, can we come to a deal to play at one of our ovals since we’re practically neighbours and just tell the SAAFL that we played at Eric Sutton? Good for you, good for us!

Have heard thru the grapevine that "The Difference" Jacobsen got Rosewater back into the game on Sat in the 2nd quarter kicking a few goals and having his opponent on toast each time it got kicked to them. Looked like he was going to be "The Difference" until for some reason there coach put him into defence as the loose man at the start of 3rd quarter and puts himself to FF one out?

Also heard that Pearce, Sherwood and Moore must have had bad BO on Saturday as no one went near them!

Good work also to Sherwood himself kicking 3 goals in the 3rd quarter when he went to FF.

And they reckon Horse isn't arrogant.........YEAH RIGHT!!! No wonder Jacobsen was training with other clubs after Anzac Day. If it wasn't for his strong family ties, he'd be gone from Rosewater.

It's not out of the question, however, there would have to be some level of monetary compensation made to Rosewater for loss of gate takings etc.

Sorry wasn't aware someone wasn't allowed to give a view point of the game. I guess there were no negatives from a Rosewater point of view

Firstly, "The Diff" did not get us "back in the game", scores were close and he put us in front during the second qtr. WOS kicked the last couple of goals in the 2nd qtr to square the ledger at half time.
WOS kicked the opening couple of goals of the 3rd (kicking with the wind) at which point "The Diff" went into the backlines to attempt to stem the flow. Being our tallest defender and with Sherwood being moved to the forward line, it seems like a logical move but obviously your reasons make much more sense.

I happened to be blessed with the company of the "DIFF" down at a local watering hole yesterday were he had no hesitation in letting everyone with in ear shot know that he infact got them back in the game, 3 goals in a quarter and would have 10 if he was left forwards were just some of the quotes coming out of the big fellers mouth, also i find it interesting that the words "strong family ties" were used in an above post, The DIFF may have taken the "strong family ties a little" a little to far saturday night at a city night spot.

Rosies have plenty of cash, they'll be right.

And since we finished above WOS, might as well be at our ground.

More than happy with that idea Morell!
You organise it and let us know where to rock up...
Rosies a hike but they do have some pretty handy facilities and fine hospitality to boot.

When your A Grade finishes high enough to earn a home final for your club and the benefits to that go with it, then your B grade can play at home, however when your A grade doesn't make the cut you just go where your told. Plenty of other B Grade sides getting shipped around and some even playing home games at their opponents ground, but don't hear too much whinging from them.
Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts....

No worries, I will have a chat with our president tomorrow night.

If we have to play at Rosies, so be it, we will play anywhere, but if it can make sense for both teams then why not.
