Maddog carried his fine form from Oakbank into Saturday, it promised a lot but in the end he couldn't get it up I mean get going.

apparently MAD DOG looked very fit and crisp on the track last night? can anyone else confirm this...wat is the verdict on his immediate fututre down at havens, another week in the 2's?[/quote]

From all reports he trained the house down, walking 3 or 4 brisk laps.
Would think another run in the 2's and then I'm sure he would be knocking on the door of the A's in round 3, Providing he can run a full game out.
I think the effects of a massive Oakbank are still taking its toll, needs to get the blood pumping and fire up.[/quote]

I believe MAD DOG has been promoted into the A's this week. Unusual call as surely he could not have been picked on form. If that was the case he would have been lucky to sneak onto the bench in the C grade. Didn't do much at training during the week either from all reports. A definite liability this week.

Yes from all reports a promotion after only 2 or 3 training sessions seems quite unusual. However, i have seen this lad play once or twice and he seems to be an absolute superstar in the making. Whether his sheer talent this week will be enough only time will tell....
