For you Mitcham blokes, do you agree with Rowe getting third best for you blokes on the weekend? Couso did an awesome job on him all day and to be honest don't remember him getting much of it at all, apart from maybe a few in the last quarter.

From reports on the weekend, Flinders Park's oval was hard as a rock. A lot of our B graders came away with a few scars, hoping for a bit of rain Friday night to soften it up.

I did hear flinders oval is very hard. 25deg predicted for Saturday, should make the ground even harder. Hopefully they give the ground heaps of water before Saturday

In relation to that sling tackle i thought their was no need to be so aggressively reckless in slinging the young bloke head first into the turf, i saw it from a good 60mtrs away & thought the umpires showed no balls & little experience to be honest, one of those umpires should of reported the tackler or should i say slinger or atleast yellow card him for 10 mins. It was good to hear later in the day the young fella was given the all clear of any serious head injury & released from hospital.

Would love to see some justification for your comment that we've been 'trouting' off all year, we gave it a crack and fell short. Looking forward to having a better go next year.
Truth is it does suck to be out of it now but those are the breaks. The remaining teams are very worthy to be there and I'm looking forward to the contests over the next few weeks.
Out of interest, who are you affiliated with if not Para Hills? Or would having people know damage your pillar of self assuredness.

Best thing was, pretty much from the time it happened the Portland boys hit in harder(especially the wrecking ball David Bird) and Flinders started to fumble.
I'm number 1, so why try harder!!

Stuck around on Saturday for the smosh V mitcham game. Smosh to good all day and pretty much in every position on the ground. On the red card was a little soft but why in a final would a player put himself in that position to give the ump an opportunity to send him off. If I was the coach and playing group I would be filthy on the individual costing his team dearly. No excuses for this behavior whether it was there or not. Will be a ripper game this week.
As much as it hurts to say this congrats must go port lands way. A great effort by the club over the past few years. We have been up in the higher divisions and know how hard is it up there but the way the people running the club at the moment and the player and supporters support I'm sure they will succeed. Hopefully we can get back up soon and what a place it would be with season, portland and pt districts in the SAme division.

I thought both a's and b grade games on Saturday were fantastic to watch and unfortunately the a's couldn't get over the line... Rae is an absolute gun still can't believe he just turned up to smosh one night and asked for a kick. Not sure smosh will hold onto him, have heard port magpies are looking at him. The bloke just doesn't miss.
Seaton would be shattered as our a's and bs knocked them out of the finals in consecutive weeks....
I reckon both games this week will be crackers FP v Mitcham in the magoos and Fp v Smosh in the a's. If they can stop Rae it will go along way to winning the game...

not sure with his job if he will have enough time to go to SANFL next season. Struggles to train twice a week let alone 4 times. Is Vice Captain and think he loves the place. He gets along with all the lads well and has fitted in very nicely. Hope we can hold onto him.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Hear Portland aren't to happy that the GF is most likely not to be held at Alberton. Would probably suited their running types in Cocharrio, Dickenson, Pederson & Graham

dont no were your getting that mail from, dont think it matters what ground we play at, all grounds mentioned so far for hosting the D3 GF have all been big grounds so dont know how we would be so upset about playing on any of them and to add to that the Thunder Dome is probably the smallest oval in D3 and we have only lost 1 game there this year and that was all the back in round 1 so i dont think we are overly fussed as to the venue

From what i've seen this year I thought your mob was a massive chance to win..but depends what happens on the day..
I have played at PH in the past & still support when i can.. yes were going down & may struggle to keep some players, but that also happens & it'll be tough just hope we dont go any further down
