We had 10 players pull out from both sides friday night/saturday morning, severely undermanned come saturday arvo, our b grade had 18 players, then i think 9 players came up and played a grade, so to have near on half the team play 2 games and then to have no bench by quarter time in A's because of injuries made it really hard for us to keep up with wingfield. And they are a quality team that plays great team footy.

The Egg, there was not one punch up all day.
Well done to Barnsey, he managed to get the 2 goals required to post his ton. That was soured by losing by so much and then to make matters even worse, finding out Crusty kicked 33 against Kaurna.

and what a game it was. 33 goals was huge. Was good to see him reach a milestone like that 1. To bad the paper didnt publish it. Congrats to Barnesy for gettin 100 goals for the year. Lets see if Crusty can reach the 100 as well in the 3 or 4 games remaining in the season.

Boxhead we figured Barnesy wasn't happy when Craig rang your mum to tell her the news and to congratulate him on the 100 and Barnesy told him to F*ck off!

Thank Kaurna for that.
Let's hope this doesn't go unnoticed cos when Barnesy did it he was treated like a rockstar, Crusty deserves every bit of acknowledgement which comes his way 33 is massive no matter who you are playing!

Hahaha i heard him say that, had a bit of a chuckle.

Crustys record could well be broken this week, Paralowie v Kaurna.....

Shobtop if its so easy to kick goals against Kaurna, how come none from your team has kicked over 20 against them?

We don't exactly go out there trying to break records...we're happy to play team footy and share it round
I assume Crusty plays FF? our FF isnt built like a silo and only stands at about 5"9. He goes alright though, has kicked bags of 14, 8 and 7 i think. I can imagine it was like a game of marks up thought, good stuff haha

ALL HAIL KING CRUSTY!

33 goals against a team that had a full side this match unlike 14 in the first half and then 11 in the second half when Barnes kicked 32. Shouldn't have even played the second half because a team must have at least 14 players on the ground at all times otherwise a forfeit must be awarded. Stupid umpires! At least Crusty did it against a full side that hadn't played a match beforehand. Crusty deserves it after giving up his game for the team the week before against Colonel Light Gardens when we had no ruckmen due to injury.

The only problem I saw with Saint Paul’s on the weekend was their ruck division.
Both ruckmen really seemed to struggle

Danny McCoy. Champ the apparent lack of ruck division is due to injury like every club. Considering the ruck man who did ruck on the weekend are mostly on ballers 6 foot or under they held there ground quite well. With players returning this week for the ruck lets c what u say then.

Maybe so but both ruckmen (in particluar the shorter one) were comprehensively beaten around the ground and had little to no impact on the game despite the quality of the opposition

Flash please learn how to spell and use grammar before posting.
I think it was number 15; he started in the ruck for SP. If he had actually had an impact like he should have Crusty could have kicked even more!
