Mega, you have to be able to think"laterally' in this day and age or you will get swept aside.
Looking "outside the square" is part of the fun of this forum, it can lead to all sorts of silly ideas.

Including the claim that GG have 'approached' aceman.....
From all the sh1t being written here you'd be easily led to believe that no other team in history has ever approached a player from another club to help them become successful ?? Go figure....

Choccies, not sure you're up to speed on what's happening so I'll just wait till this unfolds. Incidentally. I live 5 minutes down the road for the great Harpers Field.

Feel free to PM then and update me ace. I'd be interested to hear the happenings. But I don't like the implication that our club is the only club to do this sort of head hunting. That'd be incorrect...

Choccies, this type of thing is what makes footy clubs good to be part of, not sure anyone is immuned from it and it happens at this time every year.
Was talking to an unnamed person on Tuesday night at the Clovercrest hotel and he told me a few things, whether they're true or not will be determined in time but I was asked about my status for next season. I told him retirement was imminent from all forms of footy clubs, 25+ years is plenty.

Fair enough then. The rotation of the earth continues. Enjoy retirement ;)

How do Gaza feel at this point of time seeing Greg go on & become a successful coach at Cove & a chance to get back to back premierships?
It always comes back to bite yah, I bet deep down they'd be feeling a bit like Port Magpies getting rid of Matthew Knights "EMBARRASSED"

Are you kidding?? Greg is a fantastic guy, extremely well liked but not the best tactician. Great that Cove are doing well, but for Gaza being embarrassed your laughable!!!!

totally right there macca. most of these guys had no idea what ando was lilke as a coach. we all know he's the nicest guy in the world, and someone that is definitely passionate about his football. he just wasn't the right fit for what gaza needed to win a flag.
it seems though, he's found it at cove, which is fantastic.

Alot of it comes back to your list of players, if your good enough to earn a double chance your good enough to win the flag.
Its always the coaches fault if you don't

Bad luck T T Gully today they had every chance although kicking into a breeze for nearly 3 qtrs didn't help them at all.
Henley perservered & won out in the end earning a shot at the title next week, good luck to them.
Goodwood would of rather play T T Gully this week but now have a game on their hands v Henley.
I can see Henley winning their 1st A1 Grand Final this saturday at Thebby Oval.

its called a gomoku :D

Five in a Row (Chinese: 五子棋, Pinyin: wǔzǐqí; Japanese: 五目並べ; Korean: 오목, Hanja: 五目) is an abstract strategy board game and is also called Gomoku, Gobang. It is traditionally played with go pieces (black and white stones) on a go board (19x19 intersections); however, because once placed, pieces are not moved or removed from the board, gomoku may also be played as a Paper and pencil game.

Black plays first, and players alternate in placing a stone of their color on an empty intersection. The winner is the first player to get an unbroken row of five stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
