Hope you got some good footage. It was great having you out there representing grass roots and it was nice to meet you!!

The boys started to drop off once you appeared and you nearly got your marching orders, but the magoo's corner got the boys fired up and brought them home. I would like to apologise on behalf of the magoo's for holding a gun to your head and forcing you to drink...

and I'd like to apologise for the quality of footage as the afternoon went on and the fact that I made the boys sing the song 3 times because I kept forgetting to press the record button

6 of the 9 goals(?) will be shown on Thursday, including the passage of footage I like to call "Spot the celebrity". Mr Sunday Mail to Mr Big Brothers brother...bang GOAL! I was laughing so much at the Ginga song I forgot to press stop and then taped the ground for the next couple of minutes!

I haven't laughed that much in ages. You blokes are good quality, I'll give you that

So close again for the Raiders. Won three of the four quarters, but as it is with top sides, give 'em a sniff and and they usually punish you. And they did in the third quarter. Lots of positives coming from this game and the previous two, still heaps of enthusiasm about the club and plenty of numbers on the track. Looking forward to Glenunga and the second round to put some wins on the board and getting off the bottom, but first, a most needed rest.

WTF? A golf cart, now someone please correct me if im wrong but my knowledge of the trinity gawler campas is that the oval isnt that big and the change rooms are really only a short walk from the main oval. But like I said correct me if im wrong.

Longest walk from changerooms to oval I've ever had, ~200m to oval, ~300m to interchange.

Can confirm coaches have resigned. A grade coach has had trouble with the committee interfering in player management in a big way and the committee wouldn't budge on a very very very dodgy decision so gave him no choice but to resign. Team Manager/Secretary/all round dogs body (me) has also told them to stick it. I was probably not as eloquent as the coach in resigning...!
B grade coach has a heart problem (not sure if he had it at the start of the year!!) so also resigned.
The club will either sink or swim now, time will tell if the committee have backed the right man.
You may all be surprised (well I was) to hear the rumour who will be taking over!

Slobberfield!! (Thanks for that moniker, Ashman)

Was Hawkseye attempting to instill player discipline/commitment/acountability by enforcing a don't train, don't play policy? The board obviously disagreed and forced him to play blokes who had not been 'earning' their spot? Was Stubberfield one of these players? Will the playing group be behind this decision and, in particular, the new coach?

Hmmm, sorry for the twenty questions, it's been a bit uninteresting on here of late.

More like trying to remove a particular player (those at our v Lockleys & v Houghton games will know who) who has very big anger management, discipline and all round sanity issues from the club and the committee decided to take that on themselves, gave a piss weak 6 week suspension, met again and pulled it back to 2 weeks - against all appeals from the coach.

Yup, I see. A bloke like that does nothing for the reputation of a club. He's not even that good a player, the mind boggles at the board's decision.

I see Valleys did it easy over Lockleys...does anyone know if Lockleys were bad or Valley good or is it where they really both are at..I thought it would have been so much closer

There was only five points in it at three quarter time after a dreadful third quarter from the Valleys( or should I say the real Demons hey Dutchy!) But to the boys credit put in a massive last quarter and blew Lockleys away.
